I’ll probably end up in H-Town. After careful career consideration, I’m thinking about walking into this firm’s hq and hand delivering my (over one page long!) resume:

I hate Dora too, but are you under the assumption that the demographics and politics are a recent happening?

Amazing to me that anyone thinks Houston is remotely close to DFW quality of life.

Houston is so tightly integrated with energy markets that it is a massive crash waiting to happen.

You’re right. Houston didn’t make it thru the 2020 crash. Seemed to have bounced back from that one, with most energy companies making record profits now.

It's hilarious how many Houston residents think they have found their slice of heaven in that shiiithole state. Would rather live in Shreveport.

Who said it was a "slice of heaven"?

A lot of insecurity in this thread. I think you should move to Shreveport.

She defin going to put a dent in it. I hate that bitch and can't believe she was re-elected.

That said, I've been here only 2.5 years but I love it. I'm a strange bird though and look forward to my twice weekly commute down I-10 and the Beltway. I'd probably feel different if was forced everyday.

But there is so much to do! Also, I know that if I somehow lost my job this week, I could be starting somewhere new in a week. I couldn't say that in anywhere in Louisiana.
