Agree about Fort Worth but good luck finding a job there. It seems pretty closed off, at least for legal jobs back when I looked at firms. That’s been 20 years and I’m not sure about other fields.

If Ft. Worth is the best in Texas y’all can have it. That place absolutely sucks.

Why are you bragging about knowing the ins and outs of Houston? It's sad that baton rouge folks think they have made it in life by finally moving less than 5 hours away from home.

Why is it a bad thing to live in a nice place 5 hours from friends, family and LSU? good lord some of you trolls on here are completely out of touch. frick sorry we still want to be able to visit as we please.

I live here, you dumb son of a bitch. The suburbs are turning blue. Oh wait, you must think that’s a good thing. Well, that makes sense too since you are a dumb son of a bitch.

Unfortunately a government or certain industries can be prosperous and still be a crappy place to live.

Look at Louisiana. We have enjoyed tons of O&G wealth, ports, etc and its a shite hole.

Houston is a perfectly fine place to live and raise a family. It wouldn't be high on my list but I understand why a lot of LA people move there. I hate the weather and terrain in LA. I'd be looking to change that first.

Had a mediation there. Get in around 4, met with client and ate, went for a drink around 9, last call at 10 I think?

If your only metric is drinking then Fort Worth is not the place for you.

We were in Katy, and recently bought acreage in Montgomery County NW of Houston, it’s fantastic and I can still be downtown in under 45 minutes if needed. It’s not turning blue anytime soon.

Run better candidates and not Trumptards?

Also, if it is so awful here, just leave.

Not sure what suburbs you’re referring to but Montgomery County damn sure isn’t turning blue. It’s one of the most solid red counties in the whole state.

The only spec of blue is the woodlands which is basically Harris county. Conroe Magnolia and Montgomery are extremely conservative.

Fort bend county is turning blue. I wonder if that’s because a lot of the people who live there come from socialist countries.
