Lafayette and the surrounding area is definitely growing. Even noticed quite of bit of Texas tags when visited recently. What’s the draw? Stable economy with high paying medical/oilfield/tech/other jobs, cost of living etc.?...

With all the layoffs happening in the O&G industry lately and the uncertain outlook on demand, would you baws consider leaving the oil patch for a job with one of the MAGA tech companies if given the opportunity? Assuming you already have a background in tech.

Airlines are way up - planes are parked. RCL up a thousand % this week - all boats are docked. Retail up 15-20% today - stores are locked up tighter than a frogs arse(that’s watertight people).
Don’t get it but feels like I missed out.......
