You are absolutely wrong. You use your trimmer or mower for 40 minutes a day once a week, and can recharge. They use it for 10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. It has nothing do to with reliability, just the use case.

Nothing wrong with an electric mower. Gets the job done. If you wanna maintain a small engine for the sake of doing it then go ahead boomer

Except the GooGxily battery bought off Amazon has zero reputation or lawsuit concerns.

Eco, DeWalt , Milwaukee and the retailers that sell them are very much concered about reputation and lawsuits.

I’m still replacing batteries every other year in my electric blower. No way I’m switching to an electric mower.

You jackasses have talked me into an electric mower. I can get a pretty good deal on a Ryobi right now or is the EGO brand that much better? Cheapest at Lowe’s right now is $599.

I like my EGO mower**, but having trouble with the EGO trimmer. The dang thing spins the opposite way from my ICE trimmer and it is very annoying to have to do it a different way. And, I still use the ICE trimmer, so that makes it even harder - going back and forth.

** As I said, so far, I like the EGO mower. It can mow for about 45 min before recharge and takes about 1 hr to recharge. At my age, I need to take a break anyway at 45 min or even sooner. I've had it a couple of years now.

I just watched my neighbors spend two days hacking through their relatively small backyard with a 40V cordless mower. Sounded miserable. I have a Honda HRN GCV160 and a cheap Craftsman with a PowerMore 140cc I let my fiancée use when she is determined to mow the yard (watching a woman mow a yard provides tremendous insight into the functioning of the female brain... ). With a sharp blade even that $80 pawn-shop Craftman will mow through tall grass a good cordless model will struggle with. Even a junky 3.5 horsepower gas engine is 2600W continuously, which is about 1000W higher than the better Ego mowers. I get the whole torque argument, but power is the rate at which work is done and gas mowers simply do work faster still. I'm a very mechanically inclined individual, if either my Honda or Craftsman lawnmower's engines crap out while the decks are still good, I'm going to repower them, Craftsman will get a HF Predator engine though...

I mowed 4 yards back to back on a single battery with the EGO push mower. It’s amazing how long the battery lasts
