Did some work there about 12 years ago. The mall was already mostly deserted and “downtown” was a dump but I’ll be damned if UAPB didn’t have a damn nice football stadium. Looked brand new.

The bottom line is that LSU’s mascot is a live bengal tiger. Not a Civil War infantry division. Ole Miss still is called Rebels, as in civil war rebellion, and has a confederate colonel as its unofficial mascot.

Jay is going to keep Schmidt and tell the rest of the staff to look elsewhere.
None of the rest, save for maybe 1 or 2, can pitch at this level. They are not LSU or SEC caliber arms. It will be a complete overhaul. Like Skip said, “I don’t blame you, I blame me for recruiting you.”
