Why didn't whomever he was traveling with get off the plane with him, and keep him in check? If I'm traveling with a group and one of us is getting removed from the plane, we are all getting off. We can all find a different flight home together. I'm going to do my best to keep my friend out of trouble. Is this a circumstance where his friends were not allowed to disembark with him?

That's my problem with some of the cops shootings sometimes, they just default to shooting because they felt threatened. This dude had a UFC fighter, taking steps towards him and he could have legitimately claimed he feared for his life but didn't shoot him.
I'm a big Poirier fan, hopefully he can figure his issues out. Definitely not a great look for him here.
