That is definitely a bad look.
I met him once and he was a very laid back guy, and he was 2 hours away from fighting at the Smoothie King Center.
I realize it was only 1 night, but based on what I observed around his friends, family and corner people, he had to be under the influence of something to have him acting like that. Not making excuses, but most of these MMA guys come from a very difficult, often traumatic lives.
Sad to see him looking like this.
I hope he gets help.

I don't know, for a fact, that it's real. But I know, for a fact, before he was a professional that he was really quick on the trigger in social settings. He whipped alot of dudes' asses in the Laffy area. In no way do I believe him to be a bad person, especially when he was clearly under the influence of something. I hate to see it. He's been a good professional.

A lot of UFC fighters are like that. It's hard to not have an aggressive attitude when that is your basically your job - Get in a cage and fight someone that can literally kill you with their hands.
All it takes is a little alcohol or drugs to push them over the top. Lucky for him, his fighting paydays are over and he's made his money. This is a terrible look for him that is going to be hard to rectify.
He could have easily been shot right there - and not with just a tazer. Just stupid.

That would just be the aftermath of your boyfriend having his way with you.
A real old-school cop doesn't back down to anything. You can keep your distance if you know you are at a disadvantage, and you'd rather not use a weapon right away but don't walk off to the other side of the room like this guy did. No man should have that much power over you to pussy out like that when you took an oath to serve and protect.

Roid rage, perhaps. He's talked about taking them wanting to bulk up after no longer being in the testing pool for anti-doping with the UFC. Said he’s trying to find his natural walking weight. Never been able to for 20+ yrs always being ready to cut for fight weight. That said, I think he’s been a good husband and father from what I’ve seen.

He was on Theo Von a couple years ago. You can tell he has troubles but pretty honest interview. I don’t know that he’s a wife beater like some have said, but he has some definite insecurities. Cops handled it well

Yep. Also could tell poirier was drunk as shite and he did not resist arrest once he realized he was way out of line and even pounded the officer and said he did a good job.
We've all been drunk and caused a scene but this at least didnt end with any assault charges

This is a fun hypothetical, only we have the reality on tape, and the cop handled the situation well and nothing happened because he didnt escalate. None of that came into play. He backed up out of distance with taser at the ready and signaled for the 2 attendents to leave, and waited for backup. I have to imagine it was a pretty textbook response but im not a leo.
Id prefer that cop to someone that shot him immediately because he saw a future where his taser didnt work as he was beating his head in, in his imagination. Theres bystanders every fkn where in that video. Its not like id feel sorry for Dustin, it just seems like a completely incompetent response when we have the real footage where nothing happened.
Again I say, more convinced than last time, im thankful some of you badasses arent cops.
