Back when Charles Barkley was playing in the NBA, he was hooking up with a friend of my wife. Ex-boyfriend (acqantence) started talking shite at the bar and Barley threw him out the front window. 8t made the papers but I don't think anything came of it.

Talk to the girl multiple times and she did not have bad word to say about Barkley, just couldn't look at her the same after bbc.

Not a fight but Nick Saban and Theo Von have both given me dirty looks while walking around campus. The wrestler Test seemed like he might have been upset at some of my shite talking one time.

Yes

This athlete was at bar with a buddy and thought he could walk up to Peoples wives/gfriends and either hit on them or grab their arse right in front of their ole baws.

Had i not got in middle and stopped it, this Athlete was going to get his arse kicked. Ole Baw hid him on ground and pounding his head in. I stopped it, while telling his buddy to get the frick off, or he's next.

Next Game, announcers commented on how he had been in a car accident while coming home from Downtown bars. LOL frick him, all mouth, no stones. And he was a big boy, but couldn't throw to save his life.

There was guy that I used to work with that was the kind of guy that if you told a story he had to top it. For instance, we were taking about The Rocky movies one day so he tells me that He went to the Sugar Ray Leonard Vs Roberto Duran fight in the Superdome in 1980. He goes to his seat and Sylvester Stallone was in his seat. Sly refused to get up so he picked him up BY THE JAW and threw him three rows back and sat down in his seat.

Fight-fight? No.

But I once nearly knocked Mary Landrieu on her arse by accident back when she was a state representative.

That’s Saban’s resting, neutral facial expression.

Oh yeah for sure. I knew what was going to happen before I did it.

Guy was dribbling down the court and my friend was right behind him. Bennie was slightly behind my friend and they looked at the each other. As soon as he threw it off the backboard my boy turns around and Bennies nuts are on a collision course with his chin.

I did what had to be done and payed the price.

Actually ended up talking to him at a tournament a couple of months later, I apologized to him for it. He was really cool about it.

He does a ton of charity work in that area now. Which is extremely poor. He’s a great guy.

Was at an Iron Maiden show in Germany back in the early 90's. Steve Harris got into this shouting match with some crout behind me. I turned around to see the commotion and next thing I know is Steve Harris jumped off the stage and lands on my head trying to get to this cat. I'm pissed cause that shite hurt and I never saw it coming. Turns out, he is a short, sawed off little fricker. Pushes me to the side and that was it, grabbed him by the hair, got him down and a few kicks later, I'm getting drug out by two rather large brit guys. Nice dudes who go on to say how Steve Harris was really a douche and glad to see it turned on him. Had a beer with them and asked later to leave.

Saw Mario Lopez at a bar once. I was my hammered younger self and yelled “AC Slater!” a couple of times and tried to give him a high 5 when walking by. He was nice about it but I could sort of tell he wasn’t as excited as I was.

The bartender eventually walked up to me, handed me a drink, and said, “This is from Mario. He kindly asks to please stop calling him Slater.”

That’s all I got. Looking back he handled it pretty well. I was a ‘big ol boy’ back in the day.

When I was really young, we were on an elevator and Muhammad Ali got on with his entourage. I knew who he was because this was the 1970’s and Ali was everywhere. It was a quick, silent ride. We got off and we’re walking away and my dad said “Did you notice that he didn’t mouth off to me?” I nodded and had a new found respect for my dad.

I got in a fight with Alphonso McAuley on the set of Glory Road...

But it was part of the script. Then they cut that scene. I would have been a famous actor by now if they didn’t cut my scene out. Bastards.

I worked with a guy who got into a fight with a couple of the Gibb brothers (Bee Gees) back in the early 1960’s before they were really famous. They lived in the same town.

I worked with another lady who didn’t get into a fight with, but kind of pushed Margaret Thatcher out of the way at a Buckingham Palace garden party.
