I was going to start a thread, but I have been following this one and it is suitable to ask here.
I am doing a NOLA run Halloween weekend and really only have the weekend before I gotta get back to audit mode. My traditional haunt is Rabideauxs. That is the family stop for 50 years now. Their shipping rates are still insane, but I just don't have the time to get out there. I'll hit the Rouses and get what I can get there, but are there any good places in the city or close vicinity worthy of a cooler haul? I really want to focus on smoked sausage, andouille and tasso. Appreciate your recommendations

The Pantera show in Houston 96 where Phil died, then returned from a heroin od. Dude was a hot mess that night.
Marilyn Manson at an Aftershock festival in 19 was so drunk he pulled his pants down. Stagehands had to stop him from pulling his pecker out. Left the stage and basically did the rest of the entire show on the security gate in front of the crown. Took 4 security dudes to keep him from jumping into the crowd. He was piss drunk and a pretty horrible mess at the time. Pitifully overweight looking like Elvis during his bloated years. Entertaining, non-the-less.

Never been to UNO for a show and just got tickets for the Panic Nolaween run. GA balcony. Any UNO veterans have any tips on navigating GA balcony? Early bird being the obvious, so any tips are appreciated

Followed Stevie around the Texas Triangle in my high school years. Saw him the first time in Austin and instantly joined our first rock and roll blues cult. Seen him 8 times in that 1st year alone. Favorite Miles Davis record is Kind of Blue. A period where hanging with, and recording with an ensemble of other brilliant musicians was their greatest ride.

I expected that, but that's just me. To expect someone, or anyone to agree is presumptuous with music. It is what we feel, moments of personal time, and how we appreciate the things that gives us the energy we seek and what may turn that off.
Music is the one area that can't be competative because we draw our likes and dislikes from different influences. Nobody is right, nobody is wrong. Everyone is happy with what they mash the play button to.There's no reason to be a dick over something one doesn't like. I am grateful that people can find harmony with their selected choice, whether that's popular with the crowd or not.
