Pretty good band. They sound like they have potential to be something big.

While you will lose the up/down vote stats, you are 100% correct. They changed bigly. Are those albums more palatable for mass consumption? Yes, but they aren't the RHCP sound

I expected that, but that's just me. To expect someone, or anyone to agree is presumptuous with music. It is what we feel, moments of personal time, and how we appreciate the things that gives us the energy we seek and what may turn that off.

Music is the one area that can't be competative because we draw our likes and dislikes from different influences. Nobody is right, nobody is wrong. Everyone is happy with what they mash the play button to.There's no reason to be a dick over something one doesn't like. I am grateful that people can find harmony with their selected choice, whether that's popular with the crowd or not.

Awesome interview. To even hear Geddy gawk over Chris Squire as a dominant influence is inspiring. Discussing how they made YYZ was chills. I jammed that tune endlessly in high school. It's church to me

Everything the chili peppers did after blood sugar sex magik

Let's get the funk out

Can't even suggest the best funk tune ever. That is impossible. Gotta start somewhere. So, here is a tried and true classic, mastered by everyone.

Was never really a true fan of his music, but I went to every show I could get access too. Why? The epic level of talent rich environments dripping from every crevice in the venu. Fish in a barrel. The female ratios were almost never less than 2 to 1. Melt factor was meah, so it was always earned.

Melt level for women at a Pink Floyd show was immeasurable. Even they could not describe the effect. It just happened.

When I lived in Dallas in the late 80's I would come home on Fridays and put on Black Uhuru's Dub Factor. Fire up a pipe on the balcony and open a cold beer - great way to start the weekend

The Friday song back in the day after highschool

That Panic run was a sleeper I didn't really expect. Holy shite, what a run! Got DUMPED on last night, they paused the show for about an hour and came back out swinging for the fences. Friday night was an amazing show, but that violently wet mess was about the best saturday night I've been to in a minute. That rain made Hatfield and chili just that much more insane.

With the planes spitting out through the clouds on approach right over the venu, WILD crowd energy.

Nick is a beast. He's having fun now and not in don't frick up mode anymore. This run was a top shelf burner and the setlist was the chef's kiss. Lowrider, bowlegged woman, disco, guilded splinters, sleepy monkeys, henry parsons ALL in one night. Greatness!
Doing the annual Panic run in St. Augustine in March

Goose, Ashville in April
Alabama Shakes, Ashville in April
Tedeschi Trucks Band, Alpharetta in April

Panic run in Vegas in May.

Great start to the year
WSMFP

Mostly because I am a geek and listen to all their livestreams. Kinda never gets old
Night one was about as great a1st night that I have ever heard. They burned the Fox down. I was at the holloween run in Savannah and I didn't think that could be topped.

Then they did. Heir Strings and Jimmy carved it up beautifully.

Ready for another St. Aug run, but gonna be tough not seeing Jimmy up there. I truly hope this round gets him to where he needs to be.

Literally no one out there this dude didn't touch. I watched him do a 2 set sit in with Slightly Stoopid and was blown away at the character of this dude in an intimate setting.

He shall eternally remain a legend
So the Stones did a zydeco cover. Didn't see it mentioned

Zydeco Sont Pas Salés

Nailed it
Show me a couple or 3 Pete Rose slides and we can have the conversation. YW
