I figured it was one of those place down towards Turtle Beach. Got drunk many times in the Beach Club and Crescent Club. Used to wait outside the 7 11 next door for someone to buy us malt liquor and then buy us Peppermint schnapps from the Cresent Club. Oh to be 13, 14 and 15 again.

I am from Tyler, Texas and a few of my buddies played football for Tyler Junior College. I was back home visiting my family and went over to the football party on a Saturday night when all of us the sudden these basketball players jumped my buddy. 3 basketball guys beat the shite out of my 6’3” 320 pound friend for no reason and later on I found out one of them was Jimmy Butler! My friend now loves to tell the story but still has no idea why it happened

I think the Manatee/Sarasota rivalry probably goes back to the 1920s. I know Manatee has more lifetime wins than any high school in Florida I think Sarasota goes back almost as far.

Not sure how old Riverview is but Sarasota High is old as frick. The kids I knew that went to both treated it like it was a pretty big rivalry. I am also pretty sure Pee Wee went to Sarsota High.
