Was this at the Subway by BRCC? I was across the street when someone got shot and killed there but I didn’t actually see anything. It was definitely in 2009 also.
No, it was the gas station by Capitol Heights. I think it's a Circle K now.

Saw a guy that was hit by an 18 wheeler while he was trying to change a flat tire on I-10 near New Orleans. They had a rain coat laying over him as traffic inched by only feet away from the body.
Drove by a motorcyclist that was riding with his club on a Sunday and somehow had lost control and hit those cables that separate the lanes on I-10 in Texas. All his buddies were standing around looking real sad.
Had to go to the retirement home with my wife to arrange pick up of her Mom who passed away that morning. Hung out in the apartment with the body until pickup.

Yes. Found a skull and then the pants will a pelvis and legs sticking out. The skull and jaw bone were bleached from the sun but you could still smell a terrible smell where there was stuff still attached in between the joints in the pants.

On my way to work one morning I saw a motorcycle crashed in a ditch. I turned around and went back to check it out. When I got out my car I saw a body face down in the ditch.

Worked at a service station in high school.
Guy came in and I assumed he was drunk by the way he was walking. Got a snickers bar and said he had low blood sugar and collapsed. I called 911 and he came back to and said he just needed sugar and refused medical. I got off the phone with the operator and he ate the candy and said he felt better. He stood up and collapsed again and I called again.
I started CPR. Fire dept. was there in 4 min and took over. Ambulance took him to hospital. Fireman said he was most likely dead before he hit the ground and that it was a massive heart attack.
Messed me up for a bit because I heard his last breath.

Seen a couple of elderly relatives take their last breath.
When I was twelve, some dude was shot to death in front of my house. He robbed a gas station, stole a car, and was being chased by the cops. He came into our subdivision, I guess to try and lose the cops. They stayed on him, and I when he had enough, he stopped the car, got out, and fire three shots at the cop. It shot out the cop’s windshield, and a bullet grazed the cop’s head. He leaned down into his seat, and when the robber walked up to the cop car, the cop popped up and shot him three times. I was playing in the backyard, and heard the whole thing. I saw the dude laying in the street dead. Didn’t really phase me much.

3 downvotes must have been folks who weren't there doing high water rescue or body recovery.
Cute.

As a kid, I saw a man and his daughter die from a lightning strike on the beach in Gulf Shores.
Guy was trying to grab his beach umbrella when a tropical storm was coming in, and had his little girl in his hand as he touched it. I was about 150 yards away and saw it from the balcony. Called 911 immediately, and watched them with my binoculars. Saw the dejection and sadness in the medics' body language.

When I was a kid, I found a foot in a kid's shoe in some bushes kind of near where a car got hit by a train. It was a few days after the fact and the flies pointed me to the spot.

What is that. Why use mysterious acronyms like this?

I watched my dad pass in the hospital. It is far from a good story though. Broke my fricking heart. I know that isn't the story you are talking about. I have never seen what you are fishing for.
