We are buying a house, and the inspector found these stains localized in an attic. A pest inspector came out and said he had no idea what caused it. Anybody seen this before? There were old mouse droppings nearby, but I wouldn’t think this is from mice.

My boy got a fly tying kit from his grandfather last year and got really into it. He’s 11 now and still very into it. It’s been a great hobby for him. He’s getting a new fly rod and a fancy Swiss Army knife this year.

I have voted all weekend without fail for Q. The past 3 hours, I am able to vote for Ennis and Douglas but it gives me the red letter warning about only voting every hour for Q. Haven’t been able to vote for him since 5:30ish.

Ok, I’m a dumbass. I kept thinking of that hoe as “Barner”. She looks so different on the photo with the warrant it didn’t cross my mind it’s the same person. Geeze!

Is anyone else surprised by how quickly they could positively ID based on fingerprints? I know huge databases exist for fingerprints, but I would still expect it to take more time to result. With all the muck around this case, and how bad the decomposition was reported to be, I am surprised how quickly he was positively identified. Not implying anything, just surprised BRPD ID’d him so quickly.
ETA: They probably already had his fingerprints pulled and ready to compare for any body showing up.
