Its gone from $20 billion to $150 billion over last 15 years or so.

Like 40% of those enlisted in 2010 get disability checks. It’s fricking welfare.

We were at war/conflict in 2 theaters for 20 years. So yeah let’s fricking complain about the guys who manipulate the system for their benefit.

Never mind that it is still a volunteer service, who once they are in, are held by law to do what they are told.

VA Disability is funded for every single person who enlists. Not every person draws VA disability benefits. Many who do, can hold regular jobs and still have permanent injuries or ailments that will affect their life as they age. Therefore those individuals are compensated based off of a chart.
Well we absolutely screwed up removing Basher Al Assad.
Just get the Ram HO Hurricane. You’ll be happy.

When?

He received an automatic extension after his 7th win. His contract runs through 2031 now.

He will sign another extension soon. According to my Ole Miss people who are big money people.

Not my top guy but I think it would be a good hire. Lane 1, Brohm 2, Heupel 3, Riley 4, Drink 5. Riley should tear it up here with transfer QBs and our crop of in state receivers

1. Lane ain’t coming, just signed an extension.

2. Brohm is HC at his Alma Mater. Should’ve hired him when he was at Purdue. Instead you hired BK, because you needed a “splash” hire.

3. Huepel, why would he leave Tennessee for LSU?

4. Riley is realistic.

5 Drink is realistic.

So was Kevin Sagrera just the mouthpiece?
He should’ve been the hire when y'all hired BK. But the arrogance of LSU requiring a “Big Name” got in the way.

Good luck getting him to leave his Alma Mater.

I’ve let a lot of nice 2 1/2 y.o.bucks walk, some 8-9 pts.Never saw them again. My property is 300 acres and I’m the only one that hunts it.I think 300 acres is just not enough land to manage for bucks.

I lease a relatively small piece of land as well. Two huge leases to our north and west, consisting of roughly 8000 acres, they don’t shoot does and have a 2 point per side rule. So I can understand that frustration.

I have three really nice young deer we are letting walk, the 140” plus deer on camera. It’s rewarding to watch them grow.

I wish Louisiana would reduce the antlered tags and impose an antler restriction.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a young coach like him taking the lead at LSU. He has a good resume of being successful. JMHO.

Alex Golesh is the answer

CCA is fully behind the issue but y’all keep posting otherwise in here.

You’re missing my point, recreational fishermen and CCA isn’t enough. There needs to be more organizations involved to combat the united front that the menhaden industry has.

CCA has done positive work and is effective in certain areas. But it’s not enough on their own.

Seven out of eleven national championships in the CFP era have been won by coaches who were the biggest name out there when they were hired (Meyer at Ohio State, Saban at Alabama, Smart at Georgia, Harbaugh at Michigan). Kalen Deboer was the biggest name out there when he was hired. Lanning and Cristobal were massive names when they were hired.

And you’re on the hook for $53M to fire the guy. The governor came in and embarrassed the hell out of LSU for this specific reason.

But by all means, let’s bring up Saban (post Miami), Harbaugh (NFL), Kirby who took years to get to where he is. Lanning would’ve been the Cajuns coach had we not gone cheap, and Cristobal went to his Alma matter.

Has qb coached, offensive coordinator, head coached Patrick Mahomes, Cam Ward, John Mater, and has dude that has never started a game at Qb pretty much leading or top ten in the country in most passing categories. Think he's would be a great O coordinator/ QB coach prospect.

You idiots don’t realize that Eric Morris or Alex Golesh SHOULD BE your next HC. Not some OC/DC.
quote:

I've said it before I think getting Kiffin is a long shot and very low probability. This is the one I want or a young up-and-coming offensive coordinator.

The system of hiring coaches is broken. Going after the biggest name out there is not fiscally smart, nor does it really ever work out.

Current HC Candidates:
1. USF Alex Golesh current salary $2.5M
2. UNT Eric Morris current salary $1.4M
3. Tulane Jon Sumrall current salary $3M

Save money on the HC, hire a high end staff and analysts.

Spend the majority of your NIL funds on OL/DL. That’s who wins championships.

Find a HC who runs a system that fits the strength of what makes LSU a phenomenal program. NFL WR room and tremendous defensive speed and talent.

Both Golesh and Morris would be great fits in BR, success is always a crapshoot, but those two would bring so much excitement to a Saturday night in Death Valley.

quote:

Correct. Will you come to the hearing this Thursday and make that statement? We need everyone educated on the issue to be there.

Trust me when I tell you this, Kevin is acutely aware of my stance on this issue. I have repeatedly voiced my displeasure with him and Bob Hensgens.

Nothing will change until the CCA and BTT(Bonefish & Tarpon Trust) and Congressional Sportsman’s Foundation get behind the issue.

The Tarpon issue is the only way to get any sort of meaningful regulatory changes to be implemented.
The buffer isn’t the biggest problem. They catch 900 million pounds of menhaden off of the Louisiana coast. By their own published studies they have a 3-5% bycatch. Do the math on that.

Trout, reds, bluefish, Spanish mackerel and tarpon are all feeding on menhaden. The industry in Louisiana needs a reduced catch quota, shortened season and a buffer. It’s not just a one issue problem.

Same rationale for Russia and Ukraine?

I think Ukraine was/is more about protecting “the West” money laundering operation. Amongst other things.

What is our strategic objective again? Hope this doesn’t happen. An unforced error by Trump

The strategic objective in South America is to prevent the Chinese from establishing a strong foothold in resource rich continent. It’s the main reason language and larger military presence in SOCOM.
Go hire Alex Golesh…thank me
