Grew up next door to a kid that eventually moved to Texas, killed a cop and died in prison. James “Boober” Richard.

Yeah knew a guy since elementary school and we’d hangout at the YMCA in the summer. But I went to a different school from 4th-8th. Ended up going the same HS and SO or JR year him another guy robbed and murdered an old man. He got life without parole in Angola.

My father’s best friend, shot his wife then himself in his wife’s store. He had legitimate mental issues but times were different in the late 90’s, early 2000’s when it came to stuff like that. My father had passed a few years before it happened so at least he didn’t have to go through that. The one thing that still sticks out to me is that both wakes and funerals were held together, even after what happened.

I'm assuming you saw this. LINK
There was another from Curtis maybe 10 years ago. He was a good bit younger than us though.

Son went to school with the karmelo kid before he moved to TX.
I haven't known any murderers that I am aware of but did know a pedophile. I was like WTF when I heard.

Yup, doing a sentence in Angola now. Knew him well in middle and high school. We didn’t hang out but we knew one another.

Played ball with 3 guys that all got caught up in the streets and thuggery and killed people in unrelated incidents. One of them was murdered in prison and I believe the other two are still at Angola.

I know I guy that got home invaded. They got to his wife in the kitchen without knowing he was home and they had her sit down in a living room chair while they starting ransacking the house.
Home invaders unfortunately also didn't know that this guy they didn't know was in the house was also a competition marksmen.
Home invaders 0 - my friend's dad 2.

After the tragedy, I learned about all the unsavory stuff that he did along the way. So yes, there were signs, but to me he seemed like a normal dude.
What kind of signs?

Jocelyn Banks Dooley. She had a hair trigger temper, Vol crossed her and got shot. They did a Snapped episode about her
That freaky frick Rob something or the other from Bossier City. Killed a dude and got away with it for a few years so he did it again. He hung out with a group of acquaintances a few times, he was odd so I stayed away from him

1986 Chad Louviere - Terrebonne Deputy
Interacted with him many times while working.
In uniform, off duty, he pulled over a random female, drove to cane field and raped her. Gave her his business card stating you can call be back or report me, but he will kill her and her family. She reported him anyway.
He then drove to Argent Bank where his estranged wife worked and entered with AR15. Made the males inside leave and 5 females remained. He immediately shot 1 female in the head and killed her.
He let 1 female go in exchange for McDonald’s food
Let a second one go in exchange for a police radio.
Forced the others to engage in sex acts while he watched and then raped all 3.
He surrendered the next day.
Sick POS. Many of the homemade VHS tapes they found in his apartment were sickening & perverted.
Sentenced to death. Appealed and granted retrial. Victims didn’t want to go through another trial, so he plead guilty and received life sentences.
I now reside next to his sister and her husband.

I know Mike Wade.
Several years after three people were killed at a home on Palmer Lane, the victims' family is speaking out for the first time about their frustration with how long it has taken to bring the case to trial.
Michael Wade is accused of killing 35-year-old Crista Sudduth, 32-year-old Ivy Frank, and 72-year-old Ruby White at a home in East Baton Rouge Parish back in June 2019. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office confirmed that Wade remains held on a bond of more than $1 billion.

Yeah, played ball with and went to school with a guy growing up who started getting in trouble and dealing drugs in high school. Summer after we graduate he shoots a guy in a cane field over a drug deal. Plead to manslaughter and got 40 years. He’s still in prison 20 years later.

I worked with a guy for a few years that had done time for killing a police officer in California. Got into a gunfight after a car chase and blasted the cop away with a shotgun on his front lawn. I has some interesting conversations with him after we got to know each other. He was a legit lunatic.
