shite, forgot about him, and I'm friends with his dad.
Add Daniel Cabrera to that list as well.

Crescent City Sports

Transferring in for senior year. He was having eligibility issues in Texas. John Curtis was on the radar a couple years ago, but they've got a very capable Junior starting year 2 under JTs system.

Stupid comment, but yes, he actually did. I coached him in rec All Stars and coached against him several times in travel ball with his Rivercats team.

This is the one that went on a mini spree and killed a few random people in their cars, i honestly can't remember his name but I worked with ibe of the victims cousins at the time it occurred.

I'm assuming you saw this. LINK

There was another from Curtis maybe 10 years ago. He was a good bit younger than us though.

That being said there are a lot of families that own their homes outright so at minimum a lot of people will inherit a paid off home and that's not just the wealthy.

I think most adults with even modest pay can cover the property taxes, insurance, and utilities with an inherited home. That's certainly worth something even if it doesn't come with a huge cash windfall to go with it.

Which is fine if you're an only child. Gets quite watered down in multi-sibling families.

re: Creatine Question

Had anyone ever had their creatinine levels be abnormally high when taking blood labs. Mine has been high the last 3 years. Read that creatine can cause false high levels. Decided to get off for 6 weeks and redo labs to see. I was basically in the kidney failure range. Only 46 and have no other signs of kidney issues. I was taking between 10 and 15mg daily.
I haven't made under $175 in 10 years except the one year I took 3 months STD. It's definitely the OT that causes it, but most of the time you don't really have a choice.

That $175k includes annual bonus too which is usually 8k-12k range.
She'll Norco is union. Says highest entry pay. Valero Norco and LNG in Belle Chase both pay higher. They're pretty much at the top of the food chain. After that, it's basically a wash between the all the big guys. Actual pay may be a little higher at one, but benefits at another will equal it out. Dow, Oxy, Chevron, Marathon, Bayer, Cornerstone, CF.... All between $45-$55/hour with different compensation packages among 401k, medical, bonus, PTO. Pick your poison and make your $175k/year.
Roommate took a highly competitive job in Internal Auditing at Enron right after graduation. Needless to say, it didn't last long.

thought John Curtis Christian was considered prior to staying in Texas.

I can tell you for a fact he was. But Curtis is quite satisfied with London Padget now. He's starting for his 2nd year and will only be a junior. The bus has passed the Nuss up.

We all have the homer sunshine pumping with personal programs so I can understand the overconfidence they had but….. In the end, you’re going to need more than 3 hits in two games to beat a good program.

Not homer sunshine pumping. We played like shite. Catholic did everything they could to give us game 2. We walked 12, hit 2 and gave up 8 hits and they still only scored 5. We made fielding errors, got thrown out stealing 3rd twice, and started a catcher that never catches Dufrene and couldn't control the strike zone. 2 Catholic runs scored on passed balls.

Hats off to Catholic for sure, but you can't convince me that we never had a shot. I said previously I hope we didn't blow our wad against Jesuit at the plate, but evidently we did.

Pains me to say, but Go Saders.

Wonder if such deals preclude yall from playing at Miley…

Miley I think will remain the default for the early season home games. But looking at next year's baseball calendar, it looks like the season is pushing back 2 weeks, so it may not even be an issue. Gonna be a late finish next season, a lot of teams on the road and in Sulphur for proms and graduations.
