Like knew them closely, not just some random douche that lived in your town that you heard of. If so, were there warning signs that you saw or did it completely shock you?

Went to HS with two murderers.

One was a known oddball who killed his mom and tried to kill his dad.

The other was a borderline retard who killed someone in a gang fight and turned on everyone else to get a lighter sentence. Probably the smartest thing he ever did.

I wouldn’t say I was shocked to hear of either happening.

My childhood neighbor. His family lived through the woods. They were typical rural trailer trash, but when you are kid, that stuff doesn't really matter. We played together a lot as kids, in the woods, swimming in the creek, riding bikes, etc.

Once we got older, he go into drugs and turned criminal. He stole our 4 wheeler, tried to set fire to our property, stole tools from my Dad's woodworking shop.

He eventually murdered his girlfriend and dumped her body on our property. He is serving a life sentence.

Yep. Grew up with him. Has a great family but he was always a tad off. He murdered his wife (I think they were married, at least) and mother of his child. Fled and was eventually caught. Thankfully will die in prison.

I will say i knew a murder very closely. Graduated high school with him and had lots of classes with him. He was very special needs and seemed harmless. After graduation his girlfriend got pregnant and she lied to him about the baby not being his. He shot and killed her and then turned the gun on himself. We were all shocked beyond beleif

Yep played little kiddie football against one that raped and strangled a metally challenged girl in NOLA east in 1988 was one of the first LA murder convictions with help of DNA.... knew him through mutual friends...in HS life in angola After deliberating for more than seven hours, an Orleans Parish jury Friday convicted 25-year-old Steven Quatrevingt of the June 1988 rape and murder of a retarded woman who lived in the apartment complex where Quatrevingt worked as a maintenance man.

Quatrevingt closed his eyes as the verdict was read, then stood motionless as members of his family cried.

The jury will return to District Judge Frank Marullo's courtroom today to decide whether Quatrevingt should be sentenced to death or life in prison.

shoot and a guy that lived 3 blocks from me stabbed someone to death in late 80s too... fam had money and lawyered up and he didn't do long time

and... the sick phuck that killed a 12 year old in timberlane.. a DLS student
A man accused of groping a girl after a performance at the Festival of Trees in Sandy on Friday had served prison time in Louisiana for killing a girl when he was a teenager, according to court and corrections officials.

Christopher J. Rebstock, now 47, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection to the January 1982 death of Lara Deutsch, a 12-year-old New Orleans girl, according to officials with the Jefferson Parish Courts.

Rebstock — who was originally charged with murder — was sentenced in 1983 to serve 21 years in prison for the crime.

Also i knew/know 3 people that committed LEGAL homicides.

I went to high school with a guy that I knew decently well. He got convicted of second degree murder not long after we graduated and is still at Elayn Hunt. He murdered a guy and then drove around with him Weekend at Bernie's style.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man accused of fatally shooting his soon-to-be ex-wife has now been charged with murder, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said on April 10, shortly after 10 p.m., deputies with HCSO homicide responded to the 14100 block of Cypress Fall Drive after a young boy called police and stated that his father had shot his mother.

Once deputies arrived at the scene, the ex-couple's 6-year-old and 18-year-old children were interviewed, and it was learned that their mother, identified as Tynice Friday, had recently filed for divorce from Keith Washington, their father.

I taught a murderer

You might remember a story not too long ago about the 16 year old in Mississippi who shot and killed his dad because the dad took his video game console away.

Yeah he used to live in LA. And the kid was in my class

my first cousin is in prison for a high profile notorious murder in north la.

pretty awesome (cad is trashy) to see him at his mom's funeral in arm & leg irons with 2 guards carrying shotguns.

crazy shite. i was close with him growing up but hadn't seen him in decades and talking to him at the funeral was incredibly surreal.

My little brother turned all stabby on his ex-wife around age 40. I'd kept at least 1000 miles between him and my family for 10 years prior, was always a bit off, but never saw that coming.

Thankfully, no. There was a big search. She had been missing for several days and he eventually confessed and told the cops he dumped the body in the woods.
