I was just thinking this afternoon when I saw a bronco II or as the rebranded it the sport how long will it be before these people realize they are driving a dumb little car and want to dump it.

Yep. The CJs, YJs, and TJs are all real Jeeps and mainly driven by men. Women drive the JK 4 doors which are basically minivans. Hell the JKs even have the pentastar engine that they used in minivans.

It’s an inline 3cyl but it does have all wheel drive. I bought one for my teenager and I use it to commute. Damn thing gets 30 mpg and is allot of fun to drive. Surprisingly zippy and looks better than most other compact suvs while also costing around $30k which isn’t bad in todays market. It’s not a serious off-roader by any means but it does have a place.

Don't know about that, but the 4dr wrangler with an auto trans and ducks on the dashboard has become a fat lesbian car.

I had a '72. One of the biggest regrets I have is selling that thing for pennies back in the early 90's knowing they are selling upwards of $80K now for ones in very good shape to the one I had. What's even crazier is I have seen similar ones that are completely customized with the Coyote motors dropped in them going for almost $200K. I actually think the big new Broncos look pretty tight and pretty similar to the old ones. In fact I do double takes when I see one behind me and think those headlights at night on the new ones really stand out. However, what made those old ones so cool was you could take the top off and not worry about it raining since there wasn't any electronics to worry about but not sure you could pull that off with a new one.
Oh and not many moms are driving them old school Broncos with the 3 on the tree shifter either.
