I just don't see how Baton Rouge is only going to get 4-6 inches of rain throughout all of this. Seems like we're going to get worked by the outer bands of this thing.

ETA: Is it because the storm isn't going to be moving as slowly next week?

430 PM CDT SUN AUG 27 2017

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northwestern Cameron Parish in southwestern Louisiana...

* Until 500 PM CDT

* At 429 PM CDT, a confirmed waterspout was located just offshore
near Johnsons Bayou, moving northwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed waterspout moving onshore.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Johnsons Bayou.

That shite was heavy in Lafayette an hour or so ago. I just got back from getting more sandbags. Don't want to repeat last year. Shoutout to the baws on Fortune Road helping load bags!
