My area is predicted 4-5 in. It's gonna rain way the frick more than that if things unfold the way they look.

I live in Lake Jackson and I left town with my wife and kids Friday afternoon to the in-laws in Madisonville. Before we left, I feel like there were a lot of people that didn't realize what they were in for in the coming week.
I'm worried what happens to our house (we're just outside the Brazos river floodzone) in the next couple of days. We didn't flood last year, but I don't think we can even compare this. Guess we'll see how much rain keeps getting dumped north of us.
