Damn,KATC in Lafayette just showed projections for Lake Charles to get 20" between now and Tuesday at 4am.

She's having stomach pains but she doesn't think it's labor. I'm hoping the fact that she's napping is a good sign, because contractions usually wake her up.
The boys, the dog and the cat are all hovering around her, though, so that's discomforting.

It's hard to tell now but kinda looks like the center of rotation is Victoria.
If so, that is slightly south of where I saw it earlier.

Not the most scientific way of measuring rainfall, but I stuck a bucket outside around 4, after we had already caught a good bit of rain, and in 20 minutes, it had 2.5" of water in it.
