re: Guys. Do you ever take your wedding ring off?

Hardly ever wear it. I get involved with working around my woodworking shop or wrenching on one of the vehicles we have that could use some work.and jewelry is pretty much a no-go in a shop.
Besides, both the wife and I know were married and a simple ring on or off isn't going to change that.
I find it's the neurotic, jealous type that need to have their mates branded with that designated ring to feel secure in their relationship.

I get where you're coming from—keeping it on all the time does make things simpler. I used to wear mine all the time too, but I’ve found it’s better to take it off for stuff like working on the car or swimming. Just feels like less chance of losing it or damaging it. My partner takes hers off when she’s around the house too, and it’s never been an issue. We both make sure to put it on before heading out, so it works out pretty well.

I take mine off if I'm working with tools or messing around with something that may catch on it so I don't rip off my finger. Sometimes I'll switch to the silicon ring, but that's about it.

i mostly just take mine off at night. I've noticed my hands swell in the night depending on what I've eaten or drank. Put it back on after the morning shower.

I wore mine the first 10 yrs but I never got used to wearing jewelry. I don't even like watches. One day I asked my wife if she cared if i wore it or not and she said it didn't matter to her. I quit wearing it daily. I will absolutely wear it if we are going out or on guys trips but day to day....No. Just made 18 years last week. Marriage is strong, wife is chill, all good in the hood.

I take it off when I’m practicing classical guitar…

I only take it off for golf and cooking.

literally have never worn my ring since the wedding simply because I don't wear any jewelry of any kind including a watch

I took mine off a week after I put it on and never wore it again. It aggravated the shite out of me. I don’t wear any jewelry.
I had something a lot more effective at keeping women at bay - my face!

When I fish, hunt, swim, workout, golf, work under the hood/in the garage, etc. I throw it on my keychain and put it back on when I'm done.

Keep mine on nearly all of the time. Taken it off for surgeries, MRI and to let my grandkids try it on. That's about it. Feels weird with it off. My wife
(no pics, we're old) takes hers off most days working around the house but puts it on when we go anywhere. Love my wife!

I have tenosynovitis so my fingers swell sometimes, so I take it off then. But otherwise no I just keep it on 24/7

Two marriages, 17 years combined, I can count on my hands the number of days I’ve actually worn my wedding ring.

I never wear it. I don't like jewelry. I don't wear a watch either

I wore mine for about a year after we were married but then took it off after I started working construction, because it would get caught on random things.
Lost it and haven't worn it since.
Been married for 33 years

World’s smallest handcuff. Don’t ever forget it.

I started wearing a silicone band 7ish years ago after my original gold one got all scratched up and I wear it 24/7 since it doesn't interfere with golf/basketball/etc. in any way.

I take it off on deadlift day, and when I shower.
