re: Driving from Metairie to LSU

Exit in Gonzales by the Tanger Outlet, then stay on Hwy 30 all the way to LSU. Easy drive.
You must be too young to remember when the basketball team was a consistent tournament team.

It’s really a shame that a school like LSU can’t seem to get the right hire for basketball. They had a guy with Will Wade, but let him walk.

One day LSU will get a guy that can put LSU basketball on the map, and you’ll see the deaf dome return.

Played three play now games tonight just to check out the gameplay. This game runs way more smoothly than 25. I enjoyed 25 and I’m pretty impressed how much better the gameplay feels. I can’t wait to dive into more of the game in the coming days.
I’ve been on 4 carnival cruises and all of them were great. Some minor annoyances, but nothing to ruin a good time. The only time I complained to the Carnival staff was the first couple nights of one of the cruises, the people in the next room were sitting on their balcony with their Bluetooth speaker blaring, which meant we were forced to listen to their music when we sat on our balcony.

I didn’t even know about the fans dance, but odds are I’m usually not anywhere near where that line dance would be happening anyways.

re: Your birthday connection to LSU

I have the same birthday as Mike XI. Other than that, no idea what happens in late July in LSU sports history.

A pretty cool thing i can’t wait to tell my son, who was born January 10th of 2020, was that the day we brought him home from the hospital was the same day the greatest college football team in history won the championship.
Skydive. I only have one life to live. I’m not going to voluntarily risk it.

Me from now on every time I see DeAngelo with his belt.

Don’t know the backstory, but I can almost guarantee she has a good reason to be pissed considering who she is yelling at.

Weird to see this thread today because I was stung by a Yellowjacket about 2 hours ago. That bitch hurt way more than a bee or wasp sting. Felt like someone put a needle over a fire and then stabbed me in the hand with it.

re: Wedding during CWS Finals

Don’t get married during football season.

Don’t get married during baseball season.

Moral of the story, don’t get married!
Instant classic for sure. It was a pitching matchup until it wasn’t, and both teams started throwing haymakers in the last couple innings with LSU delivering the final blow.
I feel bad for the left fielder. That kid has to live with that replaying in his mind the rest of his life.

I however do not feel bad for the shortstop. Idiot play, but he will have a few million dollars in a few weeks that’ll make him forget how much of an idiot he was.
Help. Even better if they can get a couple innings in.

I was planning on going when it was first announced, but I never would have thought the cheapest tickets in the upper sections would start anywhere near $400 each.

Put Hot Wheels on the Toys Mount Rushmore also.

Could you imagine Judge or Ohtani using a Marucci bat?
The guy in the drive thru.
Hope it doesn’t sit there for years and be an eye sore along I-10 like Six Flags in Nola. I bet it does though.
