Jack Miller? He was a pretty good defensive lineman back in the day. J.J. Gray was older than me, if memory serves me correctly, though we might have been in the same graduating class. I think he was able to run at least another season after my freshman year. LCHS had a string of great HS sprin...
Orlando McDaniel was special. Both from an athletic talent perspective and as a human being. He's been a difference maker all his life. From setting records in every age group he competed in, to coaching and mentoring young athletes, he made an impact both on the playing fields and in the lives of...
While I'm still not someone who feels LSU should be obligated to play in-state schools for our rent-a-wins, if we're going to play them, they need to at least sell out their ticket allotment.
I've never felt that you guys should be required to play anybody. The nearly 7 million d...
Yeah, but the pint is, you have to WIN games. It looks to me like Jarrett Lee gives you the best opportunity to do that. But, does he do that if - as in 2008 - he's subject to being boo'd everytime he steps on the field? No, I don't think he does. Now, the fans love him. You guys see him...

Sounds like he got FUBAR and Faux Pas confused......
As a McNeese fan, I haven't had any reason to keep up with the LSU QB derby, so I was shocked when I heard LSU fans scream, "Thank GOD they put in Jarret Lee" on Saturday. After the way he got savaged in 2008, might ole Lester have a trick or two up his sleeve with the way he's handling the QB ...
Dude had thighs the size of tree trunks and was fast as hell. Good guy too
He was that way as a freshman, too...He was a miniature Earl Campbell......
If you look at my name, i can attest to having heard jolie blonde many times.
I think after the UCA win, NSU's turned the corner to a large degree. I think you guys will be exponentially better next year... I think your fans will have a great time in Baton Rouge...with all that...
Tony was a beast the first day he set foot on campus...McCann redshirted him that year, but, man - after he first scrimmage - the offensive line was BEGGING McCann to burn the shirt that year...We'd lost Buford Jordan's little brother, Simon (1000 yard rusher, All SLC, All Louisiana), to a car accid...
I was a freshman his senior year
My condolences. That was the WORST possible time to be a Cowboy. Sonny Jackson's a good man, but he didn't understand McNeese at all. He came in and changed pretty much every single tradition we had...tried to reinvent the wheel. Great offensiv...
Mcneese was well represented. I thought the touchdown cheer where yall sway and clap was alright- kinda ghey kinda cool.
You probably couldn't hear it, but the band plays a version of the "Cajun National Anthem" Jolie Blonde, anytime we score a TD. If the Band's not there, we've...
Jericho came in as a freshman my senior year and redshirted, then he lettered for the next four years. According to the media guide, he's the only Loupe who's ever lettered at McNeese. Of course, he played at the tail end of the McCann years and during the Sonny Jackson 2-9 debacles in the late ...
I'm assuming this is Jericho Loupe I'm replying to, another former McCenter.. Yep, it WAS good to see Jolie Blonde played in Tiger Stadium ;)...
saw a bunch of douches sporting cowboy hats and boots
Which one did you decide to let post for you today ;)...
There were probably between 9 and 10k worth of blue wearing fans at the game...6k in direct ticket sales at McNeese, and another 3 to 4 who "beg, borrowed or stole" tickets from LSU ticketholders. Plus some people who are fans of both wore blue just to be supportive. I saw hundreds of people wea...
As a McNeese fan, it's pretty obvious we didn't get LSU's A game. If we had, it would have been a vastly different game. Don't get all worked up about our fan reaction to the fact that we didn't get obliterated. Most of us are ecstatic that - in a down year - we were able to go to Tiger Sta...
