Issue is obvious , overlooked. The amount of new housing and commercial construction is at decades low. Illegals are not needed and should get off welfare and go home

I come from a ag background. Love farmers and am trying to set things up to where I can get back to ranching, albeit on a smaller scale.
I hope you are joking. Buying drugs for your shite workers is a bridge too far.

That’s why y’all changed the language from illegal aliens to undocumented migrants. Yall need new tactics.

I don’t understand why these businesses aren’t being punished.

No, it's the construction industry tanked because you "highered illegal workers" is the correct answer.

It’s been so long since that’s happened. Perfect response, thank you. We need this. Again, I have no issues with what’s going on, was just wondering how work would get done and it’s been so long since we’ve seen it the way you explained that I’d forgotten it’s the way it once was.

Yeah, we know. Your side would rather sit around debating a solution and do nothing while another 5 million people cross the border.
You won’t even acknowledge illegal immigration is a problem—why would anyone believe you’d work on a solution?
The solution is simple. You just don’t like it.

Then I guess he can hire Americans or shut down. His choice.

I know farmers who hire crackheads seasonally to drive combines and grain trucks and actually buy them crack or meth to take

Zero sympathy for this guy. It's his own fault for knowingly employing illegal immigrants.
With that being said, why aren't the immigration laws ever enforced against Trump's own properties? Trump would probably go bankrupt if his illegal employees got deported, and I'd have as little sympathy for Trump as I have for this guy.

I assume it's because almost every wealthy person, politicians included, and every major company hires tons of illegals insulated by subcontractors.
No wealthy person wants to open that box.
And, going after the small subcontractors is like whack a mole.

a living wage,
This gets mentioned a lot, but what is a living wage for unskilled or semiskilled labor? Does it have to include benefits?

Most labor in other first world countries has them at very low end middle class.
Unlike here where its a meat grinder of disposable labor that if someone gets hurt they get tossed aside and the next young piece of meat is installed.
eta: by labor I mean construction labor.

Not counting the fact they being here illegally is in fact, a crime, 50% of of illegals hsve a criminal record.
That's per the liberal bastion, CBS News.
We are all just sick of it.
No offense to you or your industry, but we're done.
Complicated problem?
Not really...
