Gary Plauche - American Hero or Murderer?

The child sex robot thread, really almost any mention of pedophiles, triggers memories of watching Jeff Doucet's life taken on Baton Rouge television. Not sure how I'd feel if vigilante justice became an epidemic but I say the man who killed Doucet, Gary Plauche, (a Baton Rouge native and resident) is an American hero.
For his 1984 act of executing Jeff Doucet with a point blank gunshot to the temple on live TV, Plauche received seven years suspended, five years probation, and 300 hours of community service, which he completed in 1989. Local Judge Frank Saia ruled sending Plauche to prison wouldn't benefit anyone, and virtually no risk of him committing another crime.
In other words, Gary Plauche committed murder with a hand gun in a public place on live TV, got away with it, and was ruled as being harmless to society.
Murderer or Hero?
..and RIP Mr. Plauche who recently passed away at age 68... a free man who defended his family in a way, that if allowed by the law, would probably deter actions by these mentally diseased perverts far better than our crippled criminal justice system ever could.

Both. He did murder him, and he got sentenced (Just lightly) Not a very difficult question

Yeah, and we'd regularly have idiot rednecks shooting innocent people down too.

wow...much respect for his father for over 30 years. I think for many fathers, when it comes to the idea of kidnapping or abusing children, he is the face of justice.

The answer is C) a loving concerned father and a victim himself.

He's a father who did what he had to do.. Dont know if I'd be brave enough to pull it off regardless what I would tell people

I wonder if cops use that as a case study about procedure when transporting suspects.
Hard to imagine anybody falling for that these days.

and I’ll set the over/under at 2 pages before Jody shows up.
He is usually pretty forthcoming about how everything affected him and his family.

He is a hero to me. Saved my tax dollars by killing a piece of shite. Win-win unless you are some shithead snowflake who wants to argue over Ducet’s rights being abused. It’s all really simple... don’t rape young children and you lower the chance of getting executed by angry fathers.

saved some taxpayer money by not having to accommodate the pedo

Hero. No doubt. Was MAGA before MAGA. OT badass before the OT. And his son NEVER had to worry about that mf'er again. Would love to buy him a beer or 12.
