You don’t understand the how and why infidelity occurs. Cheating / affairs always begin with boundaries being crossed, and that initial boundary that is crossed could be minuscule and in many cases wouldn’t even raise any eyebrows and you, the cheating spouse may not even know it at the time.

I hate to the bearer of bad news, but if someone wants to cheat they're not going to be stopped by not going on a girls/guys trip. Majority of cheating occurs with a coworker as well.

Yeah, weekend trips are great. We mostly travel together, but separate trips w friends also fill the bucket. No concerns about infidelity.

If there isn’t trust then that’s a different problem.

Every year. If I didn't, I think I might go insane.

I love my family more than anything, but I believe everyone needs to get away every now and then.

My wife is my best friend and partner in crime. We have a tremendous amount of fun together. I can't imagine going on a trip without her. It simply would not be the same.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he's right. The keys to these girls trips and cheating are based on a few things:

1. Being in an area they won't be recognized. They begin to drop their guard, become more comfortable without watching eyes. Another country adds a lot more to that too.

2. Alcohol brings down inhibitions like no other drug on the planet. People, but especially women, will do things a sober mind would never allow.

3. Add in swinging dicks that would put their pecker in a crawfish hole, and you have a recipe for disaster. They will spend all night to get a drink chick in bed.

Number 2 is pretty critical here. Alcohol is some powerful thing that can make iron clad panties drop.

I've seen way too many women turn loose on girl's trips and Bachelorette parties to believe otherwise. And these are women you'd never suspect. Why do you think Vegas' slogan is "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"?

Not really. When my kids were younger it was a little easier now we are just too damn busy.

I use to go hunting/camping for two weeks as my "guy" thing.
And then take my daughter and her friends, sometimes with wife, to south La. to go cajun dancing, and canoeing, and staying in "ghost" bread and breakfast places once a year for about a week. Go times.

I'm with you here. I honestly don't feel like I need anything more than my SO. I have a few close friends but we do outdoor activities on weekends and stuff like that. I don't think we've ever even discussed a guy's trip.

I have read many of these responses.
I have always found Louisiana guys to be the most insecure people I have ever met.
Dear God if you actually look at their girlfriend.
As far as separate trips. Yes we do with friends. But my wife and I are from the north. Our Louisiana friends never consider such a thing.
Sorry but true

Men and women share only one thing in common. Both prefer the company of men.

This 100%. You fellas that let the ladies go to the beach for multiple days are likely getting cheated in and having sloppy seconds when they get home.
