Occasional hunting/fishing/sports event trip from time to time. When we lived closer to the beach she would go with her friends on a weekend trip from time time to time.

I'm literally going with 2 married couples and two girlfriends who don't even hook up with men here at home much less at a resort that's basically all couples. I think it'll be fine.

Usually weekend casino trips or away games. Nothing super long or far away.

Yes. My wife and I have separate interests and travel with different groups. Not every year but often enough.

We take more vacations together though.

Nope

I may one day travel to ski with a buddy, but as far as a “guys fest”, nah bruh

Same if she would go some where with a friend. It would simply be a trip with a friend, not a “girls trip” spectacle

I’ve never done this, but I don’t see why it’d be a problem as long as you’re not wildin’ out or going somewhere every week.

IDK, maybe the bar is, don’t do it more frequently than you’re doing trips with just your spouse?

All the time! My husband doesn't like the beach and I don't want to go to the deer camp. He used to take a trip once a year with his Army buddies, but he is just not interested in traveling any longer, short of going to the camp. Last vacation we took together was a 2 week trip to Alaska about 5 years ago!

There is nothing in the world wrong with taking some "me" time if you are truly taking care of business at the house.

If you are a narcissistic gaslighting piece of filth then you should get some help and not worry about a vacay with your friends.

I'll do an occasional golf trip with the boys and she'll occasionally do a weekend shopping trip with girls. But all of our big trips are together or together with friends and family.

This. Boys or girls trips are never more than a night or two.

I'll go camping with the boys once or twice a year, and we will hit a football game without the women. She does get away weekends with her friends too

All big trips are as a family.
