You are breaking your lease. Do yourself a favor and pay what they ask now instead of this ruining your credit. If you don't pay now you risk having to spend double or triple to clean the mess up later on.

Copper Wire ain't cheap and they are going to have to bury all of it. It is a little more to it than you think.

In times past in Europe.. only the royals and very wealthy had marriage contracts. Most of the time the women in those marriages retained their own property.

I am a widow now and if I ever get remarried I would make my future husband sign a prenup because the money my first husband left us is for my children. On the same assumption I would sign a prenup with the 2 husband because his money belongs to his kids.

I can see both sides to this one. I am glad I am not their judge and jury on this one.
I would never have gone on a cruise with just two women. There are too many things that can go wrong. In some ways they are lucky they didn't lose more than their reputations. People go missing or are murdered on cruises all of the time.

The furniture you purchase today at most retail stores is garbage.
The Amish community is the only group who I know still makes furniture the way it is supposed to be made. Etsy is a good place to start for trying to find someone from that community.
You are better off making your own furniture today or going to estate sales.
