I can’t believe you think mentioning and capitalizing GLOBAL PANDEMIC makes your points any less meaningless.

So that means people aren’t losing their jobs?

So that means small businesses aren’t closing?

So that means cancer patients aren’t having “elective” surgeries cancelled?

You’re just being incredibly short sighted because you still have a job and aren’t impacted by the things above. Meanwhile literally millions of people are, but you don’t care about that. You’re far more concerned with the thousands being impacted by a bad version of the flu.

so you be you and I will do what i think is Best for me and my family

Already addressed above. You can keep you and your family locked in your home or whatever you want to do. That shouldn’t mean people that don’t want to do that have to lose their livelihoods, or worse, just so you can sleep better at night v

Well I truly hate that for you . You will bounce back. This whole ordeal is not going to be ideal for everyone involved .. no way for it to be ... but since you don’t want to be civil :

Not looking for an argument bc nobody on here , myself included , knows what the best course of action is at this point . I think they will try this for a bit then move on IDK. I am just doing what the government and WHO and CDC officials recommend that is all

This would be a good time to shop your resume out to other companies. You may find a better situation.

No one is tied down to one choice these days.

You're 30 years old with an engineering degree and you don't have enough money to cover a month of bills before being put into foreclosure?

I hope you make better life choices going forward.

I have a solution for this. First question youre asked when you go to the hospital with tightness in the chest, fever, coughing, and a positive COVID test...

"Did you obey the quarantine?"

If YES, proceed to the line with the ventilators
If NO, proceed to the other line

What do you call it?

You seem to be implying that ordinarily a cough results in 15% fatalities.

Although, where you’re getting your percentages is a great mystery.

Interstate Commerce Clause for one.

The states have declared that I cannot travel from one state to the other in order to engage in certain commerce. They don't have that right. The right to regulate commerce between the state's is specifically granted to the Federal government. Any state law or declaration with regards to such is unconstitutional.
