Well, I see the MSM fear mongering punchline has made it here. I’ve seen this line posted atleast 6 times now.

You realize that's what actually kills you, right?

Why june? Why not august or September? Why not wait till we have a vaccine? Gotta save some lives, right? What's the metric for "getting back?" A cure? A vaccine? "Flatten the curve?" I've seen no metrics for reducing restrictions, only plans for increasing them.
It was april, now its june, soon itll be july. It's a contagious virus, it isnt going away. We grenaded the economy and what's done is done there, we need to take our disease lick and get back to work and start CPR on what we've got left.
I'm glad you have a secure job where you dont have to worry about this, but many of us do. I want to take my chance with the virus, but I'm not allowed to

Don't worry by the way, Americas richest pastor used his god magic to blow the virus away. We can all go outside now.

Doubtful. My father doesn’t believe in crying on the internet.

The only person I've seen crying on the internet is OP of this thread. All I did was crack a joke at your nutty beliefs

I wish there was a way to take all of the people who think this is all dumb, and want to carry on with regular life, into one city. Let's them all have exactly what they want in a certain area.
It would serve so many great purposes.

For all the supporters of losing rights due to a cough by Jack Daniel
Maybe this has been addressed in the 8 pages but I’m not reading all that shite. I just wanted to point out that you have to be ignorant to history to compare the current situation to anything Nazi. Maybe do a little a reading on how Nazis viewed sickness and ‘useless eaters’. Nazis would have gleefully let the old and sick die you dumbass.

A state of emergency is a situation in which a government is empowered to perform actions or impose policies that it would normally not be permitted to undertake. A government can declare such a state during a natural disaster, civil unrest, armed conflict, medical pandemic or epidemic or other biosecurity risk. Such declarations alert citizens to change their normal behavior and orders government agencies to implement emergency plans. Justitium is its equivalent in Roman law—a concept in which the senate could put forward a final decree (senatus consultum ultimum) that was not subject to dispute.
States of emergency can also be used as a rationale or pretext for suspending rights and freedoms guaranteed under a country's constitution or basic law, sometimes through martial law or revoking habeas corpus. The procedure for and legality of doing so vary by country.

Still waiting for someone to show which one of their constitutional rights have been violated.

Interstate Commerce Clause for one.
Interstate Commerce isn’t a right; it’s an enumerated power of congress to make law. Inverse commerce clause prevents states from offending the commerce clause but there is no individual right associated with it.
quote:
The states have declared that I cannot travel from one state to the other in order to engage in certain commerce. They don't have that right. The right to regulate commerce between the state's is specifically granted to the Federal government. Any state law or declaration with regards to such is unconstitutional.
Utter nonsense.
You have a right of travel under the 14th as well as a right reciprocity of certain privileges between states. Both are subject to time, place, and manner restrictions. You have equal protection under the 14th Amendment. However, economic transactions are the lower protected liberties and may be regulated so long as the state has a reasonable basis for doing so.
State emergency declarations allow governors to control ingress and egress within and into their state. This is an example of a time place and manner restriction under your right of travel and protection of its citizens during a pandemic is clearly a reasonable basis for regulation.
A state temporarily prohibiting physical travel during a declared emergency doesn’t offense the inverse commerce clause.

I mean that’s a pretty weird post.
But you do realize there has to be a balance right? We can’t wait until no one in America tests positive for COVID-19. Our economy nor the global economy could survive that, I doubt society could survive that. We will go back to work while people are still testing positive and dying from COVID-19 in this country. The alternative would impact far far more American lives.
