I’d say this was awesome if I actually thought there was even a 1% chance that anything will happen as a result of this investigation.

Fauci's autopened pardon cannot keep him out of state level courts. Watch as state after state (all republican of course) pile on the charges. Even if nothing sticks, he'll be paraded around the country and asked the hard questions.

Someone will eventually charge him and it'll stick.

It’s been six years since COVID and no state has charged him criminally. And do you honestly think that he’d have been charged federally even if Biden hadn’t pardoned him?

Yeah, I wish that Fauci would be charged criminally. But unfortunately, that will not happen.

Looks like the selective outrage and political theater to get you all worked up is working.

Statute of limitations is going to be an issue on charges if not filed soon, but him lying in writing to DeSantis in a situation which lead to deaths, limiting freedoms, massive financial costs and a myriad of other bad outcomes is not something I would want to be facing.

I’ll also point out that it’s an election cycle down here so people will be looking to make a name for themselves.

I’d be very concerned if I were him.

If it happens anywhere, FL will be the place. What a slap to the American people by pleading the fiziff even after being pardoned. Dude is sweating his nuts off right now

Our soon to be governor, current senator, Tommy Tubberville, says everyone in Alabama that lost a loved one because of covid should sue Fauci. I don't like Tubs but sometimes I agree.

So De Santis had no role to play? Fauci was an a-hole that talked a lot but at the end held NO power. De Santis could have ignored him....he was under NO obligation to listen to Fauci but did it anyway because he was afraid of the press blowback.

Haha ok. Here are a few things that have come to light about Fauci since COVID:

- Sent taxpayer funds to the Wuhan lab where Gain of Function research was known to be happening. In early February 2020, was frantically trying to figure out if there was a connection to their funding. Then lied under oath to Congress and the American people in 2021 that we had been funding gain of function research on bat viruses for years
- Knew in early January 2020 that the lab leak theory was at least plausible, yet coordinated and led an effort to defame scientists who thought it was possible
- Claims to not have been involved with state and local shutdowns, yet his email history suggests he was directly advocating to blue state governors and mayors to shut down
- Knew cloth masks were useless early on and publicly acknowledged as much but when he realized the value as religious iconography, pushed for them and even wore double masks on occasion lmao
- Continually lied about the efficacy of the mRNA vaccines
- Had his staff apply for $900k in various awards and prizes during the pandemic, a federal crime
- Overall just being a narcissistic loser giddy over his interactions with celebrities and fantasizing about being depicted in a movie, posing for cringey photo shoots all while havoc was being wrought on our society

Why can't he jump in? Did I miss him getting a time out or something?

Like with OJ, the only way this guy gets any justice for his bad choices, coverups, and lies will be through civil litigation.

So De Santis had no role to play?

DeSantis was being instructed by a man in a senior health leadership position who gave knowingly false information.

Not accidentally false. It wasn’t a mistake.

He provided knowingly and intentionally false information in his own words per his own diary and documented via email.

That’s a critical difference, not just morally but legally.

Medical professionals make mistakes following best practices given the information available.

Medical professionals who lie or hold back critical information related to lifesaving care are guilty at best of malpractice and those who do so with gross consequences face prison.

A surgeon was just convicted where I live of removing the wrong organ for careless disregard of basic protocols and is facing prison.

Why should a man who ruined businesses, impacted people’s freedoms and in the end got people killed not out of lack of knowledge but because he was advancing an agenda be spared from legal scrutiny?

I saw something this morning that said that it is illegal for him to plead the fifth in Congressional hearings since he cannot incriminate himself due to the pardon. So it was saying he has to answer questions honestly and be forthright with information.

Of course that won't happen, and nothing will ultimately happen to him. But it's nice to at least see people (who matter and can actually maybe try to do something) give a shite about how much of a piece of shite he is.
