If you grew up an unathletic dweeb who's never been in a fight, and decide you want to fight people cause you're middle aged, rich and bored, you're going to get your lilly white arse kicked.

That will be fine, and you'll get some smoke. I cook those stuffed chickens from time to time and thats about the temp I do. But the thought of slow rolling the crawfish/ shrimp stuffed ones gives me pause.

You can dove hunt over top sewn wheat in Louisiana, provided it is done in a method consistent with LSU ag or local extension services. That includes the time of year it is sewn. You can also plant whatever seed you want and manipulate it however you want, as long as you aren't introducing foreign seed to the field. Also, many folks don't realize that putting water or gravel out for the purpose of attracting birds is also illegal. Yet you can hunt over both if it was there for other intended purposes

I assume you're drunk during these instances and can't properly drive yourself and your no driving arse wife.

Fish O Chick is the same as Sam's Southern Eatery. It sucks and won't make it there either.

You don't know dick about what you're talking about in this thread little fella. That much is obvious.

Your assumptions are hilarious. You have zero fricking clue about how this Meta thing is going to shake out, You have zero clue about the area you are pretending to know about. You're oblivious to what's happening to area and the people who have always resided there. You don't know a cotton plant from a corn stalk or Bee Bayou from Dunn. Meta may be great. It will make me a substantial amount of money. But that's not the case for a lot of people. It's just going to make their life hell. And frick Texas, you would be laughed out of the room by me.

And it is clearly bringing in more money and jobs than the farm was.
Indeed. Time will tell how it will pay off for the citizens of the area. At the present it's just filled the area with strangers, made menial travel a logistical nightmare, sent rent/lodging thru the roof, and crumbled the already shitty existing infrastructure. Yay

The same people who had leased it from the Franklins previously. Do you want me to list their names?

A fricking farm, same as the previous century
re: LA House Speaker Phillip DeVillier defends state’s push for data centers

The state bought 1,400 acres from the Franklins in 2006. It was intended to be an "mega-site" to attract Toyota and other like businesses. But it was not "vacant" land, it was actively being farmed the same as it had been for 100+ years. The actual footprint of Meta is almost 4,000 acres. Which, outside of the original 1,400 acres, was all privately sold land (lots of which also sold by the Franklin family). Reading your posts makes it seem like you think Holly Ridge was a desert void of people awaiting on some major corporations to come to the rescue. It was viable farm land in an old, close knit community of people who lived there on purpose and whose lives have been shattered
