I think people have been mad for years. Trump won because people felt the Biden administration wasn't doing shite about inflation

Whatever you think of him, you can’t deny that he firmly believes in giving taxes back to taxpayers whenever possible.

I've been rather surprised several times when a check from the State of Georgia would arrive in my mailbox with a tax refund based simply upon the fact that the state ran a surplus on the previous year's budget and Kemp fought hard to ensure that any surplus was returned to the citizens who paid for it. He's been very respectable regarding Georgia's finances and taking care of the citizens' pocketbooks first and foremost on the state level.

My first 10 years out of college, more years than not I put between 30k-40k miles/year on my vehicle, due to work.

Ok…and starting a stupid war with Iran when that was going on already was retarded.

There is all you want here in the US. Gas prices have been a scam forever. There is no possible way the BS in Iran should have anything to do with prices skyrocketing. Total joke, no matter who resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. 9/11 it was 86 cents , and that was going to war with terrorists. Ridiculous

We've been getting fricked from so many different directions that the gas price is just whatever at this point.

Is that what we are holding out for? Because originally it was regime change.

Now we seem fine with leaving in the same people we couldn't trust on the understanding they will really behave this time.

WASHINGTON — Every state in the United States has an average gas price above $4 less than a week before Memorial Day weekend, bumping prices for travelers nearly three months into the nation's war with Iran.

Once we do that, then we need to fortify the ballroom to avoid drone attacks.

1 - The U.S. national average price in September 2001 was about $1.50/gallon.

2 - Oil (Brent) for September 2001 was about $25/bbl.

You cannot possibly believe this. It is more like a $150 billion increase per year for the U.S. economy. That is about .5% of economic output. Not substantial, but not nothing either.

Oil prices go up and down, regardless of administrations, but the hypocrisy of politics is comical. When prices were up under Biden republicans railed against it and made those goofy stickers. Now that prices are up under Trump it is a minimal cost on anyone that completely discounts increased costs of transportation of all goods, increased costs of food, and increased costs of energy. All of which gets passed on to the consumers. The same way it did under Biden and Jimmy Carter.

Similar to deportations or repatriations. Democrats were fine with Biden repatriating or deporting over 1 million people in 2023, but the 387k deportations by ICE (the figure the last time I checked) is now a major ethical issue for them.

Georgia is the lowest because they put a temporary hold on the 30 cent gas tax. It will go up in a few weeks
