I bet 75% of those will be non-Louisiana
So we get to tax their income but do not have to provide services for them?

Louisiana is a good choice. Access to the gulf and crappy beaches.

Soon to be Louisiana? Maryland? Massachusetts? North Carolina? Michigan? Illinois? Chicago? Nevada? Minnesota, New York? Pennsylvania? Colorado? Washington? Oregon?
They are almost in every state.
Elon was right.

Just saw that space companies are exempt from from property taxes. I wonder how much Vermillion Parish stands to loses from Exxon.

I would love to have 3,000 people and their families move into Louisiana. With all of the support industries and businesses it is believed that this will create 10,000 jobs. My AI engine provided some fantastic details.

Serious question - Is that good to have no other competition?

Eh, I don’t know bout that. How has SpaceX changed Brownsville or Corpus?
Whatever the outcome, they better get to work on proactive road infrastructure. I was in Youngsville last week & the road system blows. All those little two lane country roads flowing into traffic circles with subdivisions that all look the same. The rush hour traffic was terrible. I would not want to live south of Lafayette in that area.

When he doesn't make anywhere close to 30 launches a day, are people on this website going to eat crow?
Or are they just going to forget all about how Elon made that claim, and be getting all excited about the new promise Elon will have made by then?

You all have to stop littering, I heard it was part of Elon's contract.

Not even close to correct.
Elon promised in 2013 that Tesla would have fully self driving cars within 3 years.
LINK
As it turned down, Tesla really still doesn't have fully self-driving cars. You are required to supervise Tesla's so-called "self-driving" cars.

He may not but the carrot the US has dangling in front of them is a big one in Shackleton Crater and China wants to beat us there. Space Race 2.0 is going to be a good one
