Really, that's the biggest question? Do you not think a person with endless amounts of money and a team full of experts decided to spend all this money but never considered there are hurricanes that will hit the coast line?
I mean do some of you really think that you are bringing something to tigerdroppings.com that Elon Musk never considered?
Completely agree. Not only that but industrial infrastructure holds up a lot better than the moron’s wood-framed house.
You should see the people in mourning over on the New Orleans Reddit board. They’re pretty much holding a funeral for the state of Louisiana right now. The only reason they hate it is because musk was/is in bed with Trump and they don’t like Jeff Landry. If there’s no Trump connection and it was John Bel Edwards as governor, they would be all over this. It’s that simple. Some people can’t help but to look at everything in life through the lens of politics. Kind of a sad way to live. Anything good announced will get questions like “whose pockets were lined?” Nothing can be universally celebrated anymore.

I wonder how much Vermillion Parish stands to loses from Exxon.
Just looked at VP Assessors rolls. Looks like Exxon wasn’t paying shite. Around $100K. So the $25 million annual payment is a big jump. Still, prolly a break from the full value on the improvements.

Whoever doesn't get on board will be left behind. I'm already trying to figure out how I can score some legal bidness out of this thing.

Impossible. There is no chance that Tesla has self driving cars on the road. Elon and DOGE was focused on stealling SS#s to sell to Nigerian scammers on the internet less than a year ago... So dangerous of Trump to have someone actually trying to find fraud in our government...

Is this a net positive for Louisiana? Curious how this will effect the environment if at all. Thinking about fishing industry. I’m for this. Need to move Louisiana out of the ice age. Hopefully this brings jobs and industry. The other thought is if they are firing off 20-30 rockets off a day how loud is this and will it disturb residence near by. For reference cape canaveral shoots off 3 per week at the most.

I believe it. But I'd still love an example or two.
1. they dont drug test
2. they “confirm” citizenship somewhat
3. they very loosely have education requirements
fist fights on the assembly line, sexual harassment, blatant racism in multiple directions but especially Asians against Blacks and Female Blacks against White employees
people high and or drunk, people disappearing on the job, getting paid and never coming back, getting fired and having to call the cops to escort them away, a guy threatening to shoot up the place

Louisiana hasn't has had much to brag about in like 50 years. All of the sudden we are ground zero for the biggest industrial development in the history of the world. Huge for LA.
