OP said typical light beers. Those are closer to 3.5% alcohol. Some are 4%. 20-30% less alcohol.

I know a guy who was completely sober and got a DWI. The way I see it, if you gonna have 2 ounces you might as well have 4 beers because you will smell enough for suspension. But learn how to do basic calculations on how much alcohol you’ve had, how much your body removes per hour and bump that up against the legal limit. Legal limit is pretty impaired if you run the experiment. Pound 3 Budweiser beers in 10 minutes and wait 30 minutes.

You should be good, unless you have a metabolic condition.
