Murder. The bullet actually entered her left side of head and exited the right. Therefore creating the splatter portion of the blood on the wall towards the mirror . The right side of the blood area doesn't have the splatter effect because of the cranium not allowing the blood to projectile as it would toward the front of the head including temple area especially . With that said she had to actually be facing the larger mirror and either shot herself with her left hand or she was murdered. In this case she was murdered.

Yeah, I'm not sure which one it is, but it does look like there's a shadowy figure with a gun in it. I think this may be much simpler than we think it is.
And yes, I'm calling the window a mirror. Sorry for the confusion.

The body looks arranged.
1) the gun still in her hand...possible, but not likely.
2) the cig still in her hand... (see #1)
3)the cig, in the "comfortable smoker's grip" NOT even bent or broken...very unlikely.
4)the stool. If you set it back up as is, it's positioned too far to the left of the writing space. Looks like it was tucked under the counter before it was tipped over, as in it wasn't in recent use.
5) the lamp unplugged. The note was written elsewhere and planted, jibes with #4.
...the shell casing is a strange place to plant it, if it was. My amateur arse would assume if it hit the window or landed on counter, it would end up on the floor due to the speed of ejection.

There is an L shaped shadow. I don't see how the lamp could provide that reflection. It may be something we can't see off screen.

Suicide, but wants it to look like the boyfriend who broke up with her murdered her and botched making it look like a suicide.

The bullet entering and leaving a skull causes the body to jerk towards the bullet. It's the same reason JFK jerked towards the bullet.

Pen on paper is also oriented to left-handed person.

Murder. The blood spatter would be higher up on the wall if it was a suicide (unless she shot herself straight on in the forehead which is unlikely).

I would say murder because the right hand holding the gun would no longer be holding a gun after a direct head shot. It would be dropped, and not hand over gun.
*edit*
He/she isn't left handed. The orientation of the paper shows the way a piece of paper is slanted for a righty. I am trying to put together the way the body is oriented, flipflop and stool! hrmmm

Murder. Women don't shoot themselves in the head on suicides. They are too vain.

Oh, I forgot:
Having the gun or the smoke still in hand is possible, but BOTH?

If it were suicide, the left hand would have held the gun if the person was sitting on the stool... and they damn sure wouldn't still be holding onto a cigarette after hitting the ground under any circumstance.
planted! / murder
planted! / murder

All I'm saying is that if it was a murder, it would most likely have happened when she was unprepared as she was sitting down with a writing utensil and smoking, so you could reason she wouldn't have had time to remove her glasses.

the light is on her right. she wouldnt write with her right hand and block the light, so she writes left handed so the light shines on paper.

Is there an answer to this nonsense or do we keep guessing till the thread dies?

Going to say murder. Reflection in the window looks like someone is standing there
