I’d prefer a Name-That-Tune style where a participant proposes where they could make the throw from, the 2nd participant could propose a longer throw or challenge them to make. If they make it, they win. If they miss the other participant does. Mind games, one throw, hopefully thrown like a normal football.

Don’t try running all over the city. Walk through Central Park, sip drinks at the boat house, maybe add something cultural near by (Guggenheim, MET, or Museum of Natural History) if you like those things, cocktails at a nice bar or roof in the park area and a nice dinner. Relax, take it easy and enjoy the time together.

Weather is all over the place. Dress for temps between 30-70, pouring rain, light rain and sunshine. Scotland is phenomenal, enjoy your trip.

Probably less to do with the schools contract with Nike since the money is going the other way. The fans need to stop buying Nike products.

Castle was really tough, though I played poorly that day. Enjoyed New and Jubilee more.

The faster the athletic departments break off from universities and form sporting clubs the sooner this all gets sorted out. From there run them as a business and delink educational funding from the equation.

Played it a few times over the years and it was a fun track. Not sure how much it has changed, but even with the two hour RT drive you may only be looking at 4hrs door to door. Not sure I’ve ever waited for hit a shot there in the 4-5 times I’ve played it. That alone makes it worth it to me.

I’ve used the range and practice facilities at Raven before for a fee (when not playing a round) when I’ve stayed in Sandestin. Want to say it was $15-20 for as long as you wanted. Not sure if they are convenient to where you will be but I’d try the nearest course and ask the pro shop.
