Murder.
In addition to being left handed, the gun was placed in her hand after the fact. Per Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens, the gun just tumbles out of your hand when you shot yourself.

I write, golf, and bat right handed. I shoot left-handed. My theory is sound.

Looks like a suicide as there appears to be a suicide note and evidence of chain smoking to the left of the note, which indicates she is smokes with her left hand. In order for there to be splatter on the wall she would have to turn around which is certainly plausible.
ETA: If she was trying to defend herself, she would have been wearing her glasses.

Neither. She is not dead, unless you can hold up a cigarette when you are dead.

Suicide, she blew her brains out after reading this shitty thread
Where's a picture (not drawing) of a crime scene?

Murder. She's left handed
IMO, the pen is on the left side of the paper, indicating that she's left handed. Also, the angle of the position of the glasses indicates that she took them off and set them down with her left hand. The cigarette is in her left hand, and the cigarettes and ash tray are on the left side of the counter.

Back, and to the left.
Back, and to the left.
Also...the lamp is unplugged.
But why?

She was smoking while writing. The cigarette is in her left hand and ash tray to the left, so she was likely writing with her right. The angle of the paper also suggests she is right handed.

Murder. No way the bullet casing would have ejected out of the gun and onto the shelf if she committed suicide as it is staged. It would have ejected the opposite way.

Was the other flip flop stolen?

Smoking with her left hand as she wrote her suicide note with her right. Put the pen down on the left side of the paper has she rotated around clockwise on the stool. Picked the gun up from the table with her right hand. She was turned around on the stool because she didn't want to look at her reflection as she shot herself with the gun in her right hand.
Suicide.
Suicide.

Anyone else notice that there's a dark reflection in the window/mirror (not positive which one it is)? It looks as if someone is holding a gun, and you can see their shoulder and the side of their head. I'm going with murder.

quote:I think so too, but there appears to be some randomness in the way shell casings eject. I'm not sure it's possible to say conclusively that the shell casing is inconsistent with a suicide the way the scene appears.
