A man that puts himself in a subservient/submissive position under women in hopes of winning them over, without the female bringing anything to the table. •A man that puts too much value on a female for no reason . •A man that prides himself with "Chivalry" in hopes of getting sexual gratification form women . •A square with no game other than “Rolling out the Red-Carpet” for every female. The perfect example of a "Simp" Man would be: The role Eddy Murphy played in the movie "Norbit", The role of Kevin James in the show "Kind of Queens", A "Yes Dear, Man" Simp

So why is the OT calling this a Simp now when “putting pussy on a pedestal” has been the mainstay here for years?

Is this another reddit redpill term that's trying to break into the mainstream?

It's more of a Zoomer TikTok term that is getting popular everywhere.

This is old, but this set ruined country music for me (other than Honky Tonk Badonkadonk)

Because it’s 1000% accurate.

Jamey Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Whiskey Myers, Tyler Childress, Cody Jinks, Eric Church, Sturgil Simpson. I don’t listen to country on the radio.

Blame the audience, they won't pay to see something new or even watch it on streaming so why try?

I don't think it is though, or at least people aren't treating it like it is and he's not saying it is

I think it's an opportunistic radio pitch (one that worked). I don't fault him for capitalizing on the moment, but it's definitely a pretty weak spot on the old songwriting resume.

A bit old but it perfectly describes why country music sucks so bad.

It hasn't gotten better since.
