Trout are usually transitioning from Lake Pontchartrain to the outside over the next couple of months and you can run into them if you time it right vs. spawning Sac au lait which I usually miss because I’m too late. With the front coming through Saturday night and for convenience (my sacalait fishing buddy wasn’t available). I went for trout. 15 beauties with 10 in the 15-20in range by 8am. All that to ask, do yall do well with sacalait right after a front or does it slow down like saltwater? I’m thinking about going after the sacs this weekend but looks like a front on Friday.
