Not really

Teacher. Just sort of burnt out, as I’ve posted on here before. I want my time back, as I feel my life goes by in a series of 6:00 AM practices and late Friday nights and Saturday events.

What do you make?
Not enough to make me want to continue doing it.
I have an opportunity to change schools in the near future, that should help. My big concern is that I don’t really have the credentials (or balls) to step into an entirely new profession without taking some financial risks.

Network Engineer
Chevron
It's very laid back. Very challenging.
I make enough to keep my family happy.
I don't like going offshore though. But I tolerate it.

I don’t like it, don’t hate it either.
Work for the state as an auditor
I don’t make a lot, but I will be able to retire early with pension and benefits are good

Nope, I have never had a job which paid me enough to survive that I even remotely enjoyed. I barely make enough money to survive.

First-line supervisor of a team of people making software. It's not web stuff, thank God... more embedded / industrial control-type stuff.
I make slightly more than what a senior software engineer makes in my area. It's enough, but not enough to allow me to lord over people with my F-350 or drop-in range. I plan to move to someplace where I get an equity stake once the economy heats up.
It's enjoyable work. I get to do just enough technical stuff to stay happy. People really do need a lot of supervision of trivial stuff, too... crap like "no, you can't go sit in someone else's office just because he's out and you only have a cubicle" or "you're being a little to literal with this 'unlimited PTO' concept."
I would not want to still be one of the engineers myself. The way corporate development is now, you have to be pretty passive and beta to be happy doing it. I mean, we're talking about grown men making six-figure salaries who critique each other's whitespace decisions and variable names. That's just fricking silly, IMO.
A lot of the "process" is pointless, too. I am about 99% ready for "Agile" to just die, for example, and "unit testing" is usually stupid.
As long as my reviews and bonuses come in OK despite my (sometimes obvious) disdain for the beta / bureaucratic stuff, I am happy.

My job is extremely satisfying. I run a “destination” hospice facility in Nevada for men with more natural, exotic, end-of-life priorities. Most time isn’t spent running the facility but promoting the events for the residents. Most have significant assets, and they can’t take the money with them, so I do pretty well.

If you like your job, I don’t like you.

I usually like my job.
I work at a plant.
I can’t complain about what I make but I do work a lot.

Yes and no
O&G service company account manager
More than I should
Just accepted a govt position that’s 9-5 m-f. Taking a large pay cut but I think the lifestyle change is worth it.

I would say 95% of people will claim to make >130K per year, when the reality is far less.

I like my job. It gives me mental stimulation and autonomy to make decisions and take actions as I see fit.
I get paid in US dollars, as opposed to crypto.

Why stop at 130K?
TD is going to be elevated vs national averages because there are more college grads here than representative in gen pop.
