There seems to be the continuous misunderstanding that the vaccine is a bullet proof vest against getting Covid.

You can absolutely still get Covid. It’s supposed to lessen the symptoms to where they are minimal or not felt at all.

What’s becoming stupid is people who are vaccinated needing to get tested, quarantine, etc.

He has had it about 4 days. He has felt like crap with fever and chills, but not in the hospital or anything. He is in very good physical shape, so not the type of person that already has health issues or overweight.

Think I have covid now. Been having body pains and chills since Friday. No energy and intermittent fever and headaches. Wife and daughter had been down since last monday. Wife just lost taste and smell and is now coughing more. Had same symptoms as me. Daughter also had same symptoms but also stomach pains. Daughter and I still haven’t t lost taste or smell.

None of us have had vaccine and I just so happened to have a antibody test on Monday and had no antibodies

Also just found out my daughter's boyfriends family tested positive -- his dad was vaxxed and his mom was not. They're sick ... not hospital sick but sick.

It would be interesting to know which one gets sicker/has the worst go of it.

Yep .. I plan to ask my daughter. The dad is a doctor and had gotten vaccinated because of seeing patients.

I'll be very curious.

Vaccine makes it tougher to get it not impossible but when you did get it it’s nothing more than the common cold

Oh I definitely agree, but I’m just getting tired of people at my work acting like it’s some big gotcha moment when someone who has been vaccinated gets Covid.

Friend of ours about 30 years old has COVID and was vaccinated. I'm just curious to how common this is. FYI - I'm one of the people that never get a flu vaccine, so didn't get the COVID vaccine either.

Were they hospitalized? Did they die?

Then it worked.

The vaccine has a 90-95% effective rate which means about 5-10% of vaccinated people will still contract COVID.

I know of one so far - older guy.

I would be curious to know how people fair catching covid for a second time...... Vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Or how many people are actually catching it now than once. My mom had covid back in December and currently still has antibodies at last blood work test a week ago
