Do you know anyone who took the vaccine and caught COVID anyway?

Friend of ours about 30 years old has COVID and was vaccinated. I'm just curious to how common this is. FYI - I'm one of the people that never get a flu vaccine, so didn't get the COVID vaccine either.

My aunt tested positive and was vaccinated. The vaccine isnt going to stop everyone from getting COVID unfortunately although for those at risk especially it lessens chances of hospitalization.

I definitely know a nurse, late 30s, who still got it... and went down hard.

Yes, my wifes co worker/ friend. The ironic thing is she kept telling my wife she should get the vaccine. Oh, no pics of co worker or wife.

Yes, several. Some of our residents at the LTC facility where I work, a couple of employees.

Also just found out my daughter's boyfriends family tested positive -- his dad was vaxxed and his mom was not. They're sick ... not hospital sick but sick.

False. There will always be a segment of the population that will be resistant to any new virus.

ETA: Guy at work caught COVID after getting the first shot. Not sure if he ever got the second shot.
