I have an active sibling group text. We range in age from 68-78 and we share everything from memes to family pics, tales from the old days, current events, you name it. We are spread out in the SE US so it really is nice to be able to touch base just about every day.

Yes for Christmas every year my aunt adds everone in the family. The problem for me is currently I am 7 hours ahead so texts start going off at 2-3 am in the morning. I have to remember to mute the chat before going to bed.

1 with both siblings and mom
+2 for one with each sibling and mom
Double that for my dad.
Then the awkward one my oldest made with me+ wife + all siblings + mom + dad. No one responds to that one, oldest just sends things (still doesn’t understand why grandma and grandpa hate each other)
Then there’s the ones for my wife’s side of the family.
