for a second there, i thought you were gonna make a post that wasn't about A&M.

this is like baylor bragging about winning the big 12 once aggy finally left
not the kind of club you want to be in

it never shouldve expanded past 8.
teams with more than 1 loss are a dime a dozen and it makes it too political and expansive

interesting development here, from ESPN:
a rematch, with a possible A&M/ND rematch as well at 7/10?
We're going to find out just how much pull the tv networks have and how much bias the committee has.
quote:
With Tulane's win against North Texas, the American champs locked up a spot in the playoff, as they will be the committee's fourth-highest ranked conference champion. The Green Wave will earn the No. 11 seed and face the committee's No. 6 team on the road in the first round. If the committee keeps Ole Miss at No. 6, Tulane will get a rematch against the Rebels. Ole Miss beat Tulane 45-10 on Sept. 20 in Oxford and will have home-field advantage again as the higher seed.

I don’t understand at all the discrepancy in strength of schedule between these two teams. They both played a very soft one.
i dont understand the point in playing 12 games and factoring in advanced metrics if people are just going to cherry pick a couple of the games to try and further their agenda.
actually, i lied.
i understand it, its just pathetically transparent.
sounds like several former heisman winners
ole miss doesnt even have a better resume than A&M. They just have the fortune of their lone loss being over a month ago and the average person cant remember what happened more than a week ago.

Plenty of Aggies, Sooners and Horns and Mizzou folks saying they were glad to get out of the Big XII because Manhattan, Ames and Waco were not great atmospheres for CFB.
believe it or not, a stadium and its gameday environment is not all a town has to offer. just quit while youre behind already
dont know if theyre out, but they aint passing up their first chance at a big 12 title in....[checks wiki] ever.
texas tech and ole miss especially are benefitting from losing early.
Its a recency bias that people acknowledge is real, but are still seemingly powerless to get out of the way of.
in short, people are stupid and selfish.

really no reason to doubt this. we know what sankey is and what CFB has become.
texas fans still in big 12 mode.
having trouble coming to grips with more than than 1-2 games a year that matter

yes. to hare krishna
if LSU can pretend to be an academic institiution, im not sure why you can't pretend to be a longhorn.
i wanted tech too but i dont think it aligns unless they do some shuffling for TV ratings purposes. Im afraid its going to be oklahoma or alabama at kyle and thats pretty 'meh' in terms of intrigue.
i cant be the only one who doesnt know how to translate this? snap? wdy?

not sure of his contract, but id like to think an employer has just a little more control over their employees than that. make him the most expensive water boy in the country if you have to.
and as history shows, they were irrational for that. if A&M reaches the summit like OSU did 2 months later and is still bitching about the texas loss? it'll just bring reality to an old joke....only one game matters.
