For example, in the mists of history is the person who invented the shoe and / or created the concept of wearing shoes. And we can never know anything about that person or the moment it happened.

I'd imagine someone in the stone age tired of stepping on sharp arse rocks.

Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, but I invented the light bulb up my arse.

I'm pretty sure that person lived in the desert, and needed to go somewhere at noon.

I often think about this when I eat the delicious shellfish and crustations we enjoy here in So. LA

I often wonder how hungry the first person had to be to eat an oyster, glad they did but they had to be really hungry.

What you talking about? The guy who invented shoes is Emil Fischer, he invented them in 8674 BC in Germany.

Same guy came up with sticking stuff in his ears to muffle the woman telling him he made the shoes wrong.

I sometimes wonder about the first person to eat a raw oyster. I wonder if he was simply staving or if he lost a bet or did he do it on a dare.

I used to, but I rest easy now knowing that regardless of what was invented or when, it was a sassy overweight black woman who did it

I often wonder if there was ever a day where I took the biggest poop that day.

I wonder more about people having objectively the best experience possible in human existence.

Consider eating a watermelon. We all know that some watermelons are better than others. We all have strategies for finding the sweetest, juiciest, and most flavorful watermelon possible.

On a molecular level, I bet we could objectively measure watermelons for their quality, which means there has existed a watermelon that is above all other watermelons.

And if someone ate that watermelon, then they have eaten the objectively best watermelon in the history of the world.

Do you think that person knows they ate the best watermelon ever?

the real question is how did we figure out how to tan leather?

I assume most discoveries like that were by accident and in my head I can get to the point where we have scrapped all the fat and meat off a piece of fur.

Just not stretch it and any of the other steps.

I've often thought about the first person hungry enough to eat a crawfish.

ETA: I now see half the first page is just this response.
