Nobody I know in Louisiana calls it LA, so why would they be upset? Everyone I know who says LA in conversation means Los Angeles

56 YO and as of yet have never heard anyone say L A for Louisiana. In spelling, all the time. In speech, never.

L.A. = Los Angeles
LA = Louisiana

I’ve never heard someone from Louisiana say I’m from LA though. It’s just the postal code abbreviation.

I used to think of Los Angeles first when reading that, but I've been on SEC sports forums since the days of Rich Brooks and Tubby Smith in the 00s.

As a result, I've come to know many LSU baws on these here interwebs, and they're good folks. Also, frick California and their commie liberal bullshite on the whole.

Louisiana has my support on their claim to LA.
