For the same cost (rental car, meals, excursions, lodging), last summer over a two weeks vacation we flew into Denver from NYC, did Rocky Mountain National Park while staying at a luxury ranch nearby (lots of horseback riding), did the drive through Lander, WY, to Yellowstone, stayed in the park, and then spent the remainder of the two weeks in Jackson WY while spending time at the Grand Tetons (with excursions to Jenny Lake and fly fishing), and flew out of Salt Lake City.

I going to need the full itinerary for this trip so I can book it.

When my wife forces me to go to theme parks I always pay for the express options. I can’t fathom waiting in line for 2 hours on vacation. I just chalk it up to the cost necessary for me to somewhat enjoy her choice of vacation.

I prefer the Universal Studios trips. At least there’s a beer on every corner.

I prefer the old way. You had to go to the ride and print a return ticket.

Spent four days at Disney in late July. I got lightning lane for all four of us, plus paid the single pass for the top rides that aren't included in lightning lane.

Yeah, it was about $500 more but we got to ride everything we wanted twice, plus all the other good rides and skipped the lines in the 105 degree heat. It was worth it.

I'll say this, their customer service is top notch at the parks.

I was expecting a dreadful vacation but I came away really impressed with it and had a blast.

Lightening Lanes are great. Screw spending 90 minutes in line.

I’ll never go again. When we were younger we used to take our kids every couple of years, but Disney has moved to the dark side. Poor Walt looking down must wonder.

The degradation started with homo weekend on Memorial Day many years ago, probably 1995. My 7 year old son asked me why are all these men wearing boots and shorts and holding hand? I made an excuse because he was so young. But in his heart he knew this was unnatural.

Then when Disney started producing films with vile content we decided to never go back. Satan and his minions are cleverly in control of the Disney parks because evil knows the vulnerable and evil know that parents will continue to come back for the sake of their kids.

It’s a good lesson for your kids to learn early. You have to grease people to get ahead.

Epcot is ok because I can drink. Magic Kingdom kinda sucks and I’ll never go there on a Saturday again.

Why do people go to Disney over Universals parks? Universal has much better rides.
