Don't think you know what this word means.
But please, explain your strategy for the day at say MK.
Magic Kingdom is the only one of the parks that requires any modicum of planning. Epcot may also fit in that boat if you like to spend a lot of time in World Showcase and only want to spend one day there (you cannot change this about Epcot by utilizing Lightning Lanes).
The first thing I'd say is stay on property. You mentioned rope drop. The extra 30 minutes you get as a resort guest on top of that is enough to clear an entire section of any park on property. The trick is not to go to the "big" rides at rope drop or during your extra resort time. Don't use your extra time for Peter Pan (skip Peter Pan regardless), Big Thunder, etc. Use it to clear all of Adventureland or Tomorrowland before the park opens. If you get through those lands and the park isn't open yet, then sure go get in line for Big Thunder or Space Mountain. They haven't opened the LL yet anyway. No one else is trying to do this. They're all doing what you do. Because you're sheep consumers who just buy what the company tells you.
For Fantasyland, skip Peter Pan. That's the whole strategy. It isn't worth your time. It isn't worth your LL. It simply isn't worth it.
If you're skipping the Dumbo line, your kids are disappointed. The playground in the line is more fun than the ride.
For Epcot, we honestly spend 2 days there. One day for rides, one day just to walk around world showcase. That isn't because of wait times though (usually we still end up riding all the "big rides" like Guardians, Frozen, & Soarin on both days). It's because we want to stroll around world showcase without caring about catching a ride at a specific time or when the line is at the right level. Especially at the holidays when they have the various Christmas performers. And here's the dirty little secret: Adding a 5th, 6th, 7th, etc park day ticket to your trip is cheaper than the LLs you're buying over the course of your trip. Or at least, it is for us. We get a lot more utility and enjoyment out of an extra day or 2 than we do out of Lightning Lanes, and I'm certain you would get far more enjoyment out of your trip if you did the same.
For the other 2 parks, LLs simply can't be justified at all. You can complete all the rides at Animal Kingdom, for example, with hours to spare, even if you take your time to slowly meander through every zoo exhibit. Even if you do the sheep thing and follow the crowd around the park to every ride. Neither AK or Hollywood Studios are big enough for you to need LLs. Unlike MK, it's impossible to see how people think they're "getting something" by paying for LL at those parks. It's a complete waste of money. The only exception I could see to this is if Rise of the Resistance is having problems on the day you happen to be visiting. In that specific case, a LL might be the only chance you'll get to ride it at all.

Wait until you find out about the VIP tours.

Oh wow. You actually enjoy Peter Pan? I didn't know people like you existed.
Peter Pan is a waste of your lightning lane and a waste of your time. I don't care how you tackle Magic Kingdom. Peter Pan isn't worth it.

Peter Pan was my favorite movie as a kid, and my favorite ride when I was a kid. Of course I enjoy it. The average wait for that ride daily tells me I'm not alone too.

Cool, you still have not shown any actual strategy to have 5 minute stand by on most rides, because you know you're full of shite.

how, they are just LLs that don't require a "modicum of planning" as you like to say. A master planner like you should be able to beat them and save all that extra money, right?

It is the only way I will go to Disney or Universal.

The wait time for that ride is solely due to a poorly designed ride carriage. Nothing more. They can barely get a family of four on that ride, and that's if you have small children. It's the ride version of the model trains in Epcot. People "like" it because the line is long and they think they have to. It's not a good ride.
They should have torn that out when they added Winnie the Pooh instead of getting rid of Snow White and Mr Toad.

The rides that a LL allows you to wait only 5 minutes to ride aren't popular enough to use your LL on. You keep saying I'm full of it while you make claims that anyone who's ever been there would know are false.

You're lashing out because you can't refute anything I've said, and it pains you to know you waste money on something you get no actual utility from.

I see now that you're simply trolling. That's on me. I should have recognized sooner.

you haven't actually said anything other than you can beat LL holders without one but somehow premier pass is worth it. You are being very inconsistent with your logic, and you're saying things that don't make any logical sense. Calling bullshite on stupidity is not lashing out.

If I want to ride every ride at Epcot, drink around the world, and spend an hour in GEO 82 all in one day, how likely do you think that is without LL?

Go to Walmart and buy a removable ankle brace and crutches. Straight to the front of the line and it is cheaper than a lightning pass.

You have to ride it to find out, though.
Most people who buy Lightning Lanes are first timers trying to get as many rides in as possible. People who probably are never coming back. They're not skipping Peter Pan.
I liked Pooh better than Peter Pan, but both were better than the Little Mermaid.

I remember the good old days of the Disney Fast Pass.
Years ago, we got into Hollywood Studios right when it opened that day, and everyone starts running. I have no idea what's going on, so I start running with them. My wife runs next to me and hands me our park tickets.
"Get us a fast pass!" she yells at me. I'm still not sure what I'm doing
Turns out we were all running to the new Toy Story Mania ride.
I was able to get us fast passes for like 3pm that day. No extra money spent. Just a little hustle.

I dont like the idea of it, but I am fortunate enough to not bat an eye buying lightning lane passes to make the day go smoother.
I thought about doing the VIP once, but I feel like half of the "magic" of Disney World is just walking around the parks and seeing stuff, you miss all that with the VIP escorts.

Am neither of these things. Poor people waste money on things like Lightning Lanes. That's why they're poor.
no, those of us not poor...we pay for convivences, I will gladly spend an extra thousand over the course of a week to not sit in line all day with poor people complaining the whole time.
